Ok either I suck complete *ss or something is wrong. I put everything in and plugged it all up and when I go to turn it on it powers up for a split second and then immediately shuts off. The CPU fan runs, front fan runs, the LEDs on the DVD drive turn on, the PSU's fan runs, but the case mounted fan up top barely budges and the case LEDs don't turn on. Did I mention that it shuts off after a split second?

Ok so now its running how do I get it set up now? Do I just install the disks that came with the hadware or do I need to change some settings in order to OC?

Edit: A walkthrough would be nice

I generally install windows, if windows doesn't detect the network chip I install the driver for that as well. Then I download the latest graphics driver and install it.

Then I let windows update take care of the rest.

So I don't need to change any settings in the set up in order to OC?

No, you can overclock any time you want via the bios/uefi, wouldn't do it until the system actually runs.

To gain the ability to OC, no.

To overclock you will change settings in bios.

Ok I go this monster working and installed the OS, MOBO, GPU, and SSD discs. Now let's get this puppy optimized and OC'd!

HO-LEE CHIT THIS THING IS BEAST. The massive 40" screen and graphics are mind boggling compared to my old 17" on low that I was playing on. I gotta practically relearn the game due to the sheer scale and pretty explosions!

Damn thing decided to stop working. When I went to turn it on this morning it does a single short beep then takes me to the UEFI BIOS page. I looked up the ASRock beep code and it said "Memory Refresh Timer Error" or something like that. I tried reseating the memory but still does it. Help?

Does it still detect the RAM inside the UFEI bios?

Try using something like memtest to test the RAM.

The strangest thing happened: I went to turn it on to check what you asked DV McKenna and instead of the UEFI BIOS Set Up page it booted straight up like normal. Guess it was a bug or something.

I guess you could google if you clean RAM contacts with a pencil eraser, or something?

I'm looking at getting a gaming keyboard with a few macro keys and I would like some help picking one out. $40-$70 price range is preferred.

Ok but which one do you recommend? Also a used high-end keyboard that's around $70 could work too.

So far I was looking at this one: http://www.amazon.co...rd+programmable
