^_^ Japan is my new favorite curse. {Capellan} Jappin' Japanese Japaners! Hey, in most circles it's apparently less offensive than: "American America Americkers!" EDIT: Disclaimers: 1. just picking Night, I realize that was probably typed on a phone. 2. Yes I realize "{Capellan}" has been used as a racial epithet, not the intent here. 3. Yes, I am 'Murican and No, I have nothing against my country. No disrespect intended here. 4. Oh **** it. I'm gonna not try to be funny anymore. (Hey, the spell checker passes "gonna" as correct, hah). 5. Yes... I literally just typed a string of asterisks for number 4, I didn't actually say ****... look, it's early for me okay? EDIT EDIT: Hah! The censor caught the first three letters from "Japanese" and switched it to {Capellan}... which doesn't make a lick of sense. EDIT EDIT EDIT: BOB SAGET!

Yes. because the first 3 letters of "JAPan" is a racial slur on the Japanese people.

Kinda similar to calling an African American the N word that rhymes with tiger.

The origins behind it is world war two how the US calls the Japanese by the first 3 letters. (for multiple japanese, it would have an s on the end after the p) Due to the highly negative attitude towards the japanese and this specific word it was later casted as a curse word or a swear word.

Did you think I just threw Japan as curse word up there because I'm an internet troll? ;)

I am actually impressed that the Censor system switches the isolated first 3 letters of Japanese on the forums while not censoring the whole word. (+1 to PGI! You're already better then most profanity filters)

I find it even more funny how they switched it to {Capellan} which is the equivalent of the battletech universe.
(Minus the ethnics. Obviously for this situation we're talking about a racial slur towards japanese people and Kurita is the main 'japanese' culture and language in BT)
