Only way this achievement is possible IMHO is if the matchmaker screws up.

And puts you in a team at your elo against a team halve your elo, And you get extremely lucky being in the right place for every single kill. And none of the enemy team can aim.

The achievement isn't worth anything as its all luck no skill . And to pull it off and to kill all 12 enemy mechs and not one to kill you , You were in a battle you couldn't lose.

Gotten 11 and I felt worse about it than about any match I have been in. Slaughtering noobs when out of 23 others I was the only one to land a shot. I had something like 1400 dam and the nearest of any of them had maybe 200. Its the PGI ruined Matchmaker award. Nothing else.

Like others have said, it's practically impossible. Not only do you have to be far more skilled than all your opponents put together, but you also have to be far more skilled than all your own teammates put together.

They may as well make an achievement for getting 12 kills while staying at 100% health and being the sole survivor on your team.

You got 11 kills even with like... how many? 5 synchdroppers on the enemy team? Not bad. Or is the synchdrop rate even higher atm? Was it 11 synchdroppers and they were terribad?

I remember getting Creeping Death Achievement in my Boar's Head (Atlas), charged the front line and they all ran away and turned their backs to me.

So yeah, I'd have to agree a lot of things have to go right for such/some achievements (especially in particular mechs/scenarios)


Ps: Creeping Death is when you get 3 kills whilst never going below 90% health

Oh well might as well start posting in the forums in spirit of change or something.

I did the 12 during the worthy adversaries #1 contest which was during Fri August 15st - Mon 18th.

Played almost exclusively with the dual PPC, GAUSS & Mlas Daishi and finished second overall. This was still the time when CERPPC was fast. During the event people seemed to really like to use LRMs..

Played this match on 16th 21.05GMT. Looking at the pings most of the enemy team were Americans (biggest stock of casual players, juicyy!). Map was River City Night, Skirmish (the best gamemode to play with the contest). I spawned in the charlie spawn.

Here you can see the route I took (positions of kills after the first are rough approximates). The game was relatively short and I used ART and CS. First kill I remember very well as it was the guy saying "lol". He came straight to C3. Some of our team had made moderate damage to it and I finished it with an alpha. After that it was pretty basic shooting war in D3 corner. I managed to get some repeating alphas on their regrouping late ones still at D3 and further pretty statically playing LRM mechs on E4&D4 and they went down. Some of our team pushed in the open and were taken out and rest started to back behind D3.

Splitting the corner I landed an arty on their main blob at D4 near the Oscar statues finishing more than one and scoring several components. They started to withdraw in confusion deeper in to D4 and I followed getting easy shots on damaged and/or RCT mechs taking them out with one shot. Rest of the team didn't follow enough to score kills behind the buildings. Also running lrm don't help. In the end I thought I took out 10 or something but when the finish screen popped up all i could type was "wow".

Overall in the tournament the player quality really took a dip during that Saturnday night (US Sat daytime I gather) and I got really easy games to farm kills and damage. I also played with 6Mlas+5lbx5 300rnd build scoring 1500+ dam 6+ kill rounds. Player quality also caused frustrating games where I made above kills and damage but lost the round anyway as all the rest just melted doing absolutely nothing reasonable. All in all I don't recommend playing such tournaments as it really isn't healthy :S

CW doesn't count, otherwise I'd have it...

but in pug drops...I haven't even gotten Ace of Spades

Achievements should be allowed in CW. then it would be easy to get stupid achievements like Death Star

In Protons stream that enemy team all disconnected at the beginning of the match and refused to play against his team. Which is pretty lame.

Protons team turned it into a joke and where goofing around.

I was watching it on that stream that day and he was not at all taking it like a serious achievement he accomplished.
