Yesterday (12/31) finding a good CW match that wasn't against the clans was not an easy thing to do. Many weren't online and our Davion borders were really quiet. It seemed like it would have been the perfect and really easy time to swoop in an take a planet from Liao or Kurita. Eventually people started showing up, and before long WMC was able to muster an 8 man together and with the help of various other individuals from HHoD, AW and other units, we were able to take Tallin.
The campaign to free the planet from the Liao grip was pretty easy at first. At least 4 turret drops in a row, but then the Liao defenses got their stuff together and gave our guys a run for their money. In the end WMC and it's allies prevailed and now a planet in the IS has the WMC tag for the first time since day 2 of CW.
So for those other unit members and pugs who helped us free Tallin from the grips of the Liao tyranny, thanks. It is greatly appreciated.
