Oh yeah and reporting for duty....
For anyone not familiar with CGB.
I can say from experience gaming with some of them from as far back as 03-4 in MW4. Great group of men and women. Team work is important, there are no egos, they offer advice, criticism (positive), are understanding of Real life obligations as many are or were military among other occupations/careers.
I only just rejoined about two months ago and fell right in though some aspects have changed as evolution does.
Friendly, pretty easy going, there are some of the players that do hard core league (1st Bear Guard) there is rank and structure with in the Clan, we do trials to prove yourself as a pilot. There is training scheduled for those that can make it.
Many have played through the various Mechwarriors, myself included so we are familiar and have a long history of gaming experience. We also accept those of other Clans and Houses/Mercs to practice with and fill in unless specified other wise.
So if you find yourself on NGNG teamspeak and looking for a group, drop down to CGB and see if we are on. Usually there is at least 2-3 active, and on some nights 8-16 or more.
That has been my experience anyway.

Space facists of a limited number thrown at an unlimited enemy, forced adaptation to alien tactics in an unknown field with enemies of unknown quantity and quality... etc.
Would you prefer the stravag not serve in solhama but instead pilot mechs?

I've been drawn over here by two things; one, you all seem like nice folks and two... well, I love Clan Ghost Bear. I have ever since I sat down to read a Battletech book at an older friend's house nigh-on 20 years ago and first saw the GB logo. Since then I've voraciously picked up sourcebooks (even though I've not played a game of Battletech itself since the 90s) and absorbed the Ghost Bear story - seemingly the only positive story that runs throughout the whole history of the setting.
So, as a casual (but committed, when necessary) player my question is do the Ghost Bears have a place for someone like myself?

We'd welcome you to submit an application and come hang out on our teamspeak server. Normally we've been on NGNG's server with a backup hosted by one of our members, but the past couple of days have seen some major shifting in NGNG so either may be staffed.
http://clanghostbear.enjin.com/ has the backup TS IP, and the first page/post of this thread has the new forums URL.

I am a MechWarrior of some 20 years experience... from TT through all the MechWarrior titles right through to Living Legends.
My personal values - family, honour, duty and camaraderie - align with the values on which Clan Ghost Bear was founded. For this reason I am interested in learning more and signing up to the Clan.
Can you tell me what times of the day the Clan is active? I am presently located in the Middle East, which means I am most usually available to battle around 1pm to 4pm US East Coast time. I am not sure whether this limitation would make me of any use in dropping with the Clan?
I await word via HPG.

We're most active likely a bit after 1- 4 EST but we often have guys on throughout the day. There are currently members from the EU, Australia, and the US. Most of our competitive dropping tends towards 8PM EST or 10 PM EST or even later from what I've seen.
Our local forums are more active if you'd like to throw up an introduction at the Ghost Bear Command site to inquire further. We are always welcoming new members to the touman, and run trials nearly every Monday night.

We have several players in Europe as well so we have a decent amount of people on during your times.
