Allow me to put it like this.

Clan Ghost Bear was formed because Love Conquered All (for real), and were the first clan to give all castes the right to vote. They are the most bro-tier of all the clans because they're all one big family. They carved their own **** empire in the Invasion, were one of the few clans to hold thier own in Tukayyid, managed to pull the rug over the eyes of ALL the Crusader Clans when they moved to the Inner Sphere, and now have a sustainable empire with a high quality of life and general peace.

This is the one faction that has WON Mechwarrior/Battletech.

What's not to love? <3

We may have started out slowly in Operation Revival but that was due to not having a Tseng and Jorgensson as Khans. Ulric Keresnky said times are changing, and in the Trial of Refusal he took Khans Nornia Tseng and Ursala Jorgensson from us and the family felt maybe it was time for change. So they put Karl Bourjon and Theresa DelVillar as Khans which deviated from the long tradition of someone with a founder bloodname.

Sadly Khan Bourjon felt that the clans would meet minimal opposition and argued that excessive supplies would simply weigh down the fleet and place a needless burden on the Clan members remaining on the home worlds. So, we took the least resources... less than the Smoke Jaguars who had a lower bid for their touman than we did.

Alright Coffi you got another one! Soon the Jaguars and the Bears will be an unstoppable force among the Clans and the Sphere...I would add the Falcons...but sadly we have not heard from our feathered brethren.

*cough cough* i can not report for my SCL, but this Falcon is ready for the fight and I will gladly support the bears and jaguars. Let us take Terra together!

/rp off I just wanted to throw 2 cents in on these GBs. If you're wanting to RP how Bears really are and play in a fun unit this is it. The Rangers have scrimmed with them when they first came on the MWLL scene. Coffi is very active over in that community as well, keeping in touch with a majority of the other unit leaders.

I was CGB (not this unit) back in the MW4 days under the SL league but left cause they weren't Bears at all. Just more mech jocks trying to win with fancy clan tech.

No problems we often enough just chill and chat on teamspeak, often enough just text chat as well during the day. If you like megamek at all or play MW4 we play those as well. Hell a couple of us have games here and there on netmech dos  So a lot of options for playing :)

Well the unit is a partialy casual (we have a lot of members on hectic schedules atm, ie: One updated MWLL, logged in and then his pager went off... poor mechwarrior  did not get his fix that night. We allow anyone to join up in the unit. You are sibko rank until you decide you want a Trial of Position then we do it pretty much clan style. You have a mech lighter than you, same weight class and heavier in 1 on 1 fights. We tend to do it on the MW2:GBL Trial recration map, Alshain (made by me )

Normally we play it if you can get to the repair bay you can repair and refit if you get caught by your next opponent, well too bad. But this is mainly due to MWLL having repair pads lol.

the normal 1 kill is mechwarrior, 2 kills is star commander and 3 is star captain. You are free to pick your mech at start.

I also try to FRAPs the match and do video of it. That always depends on my footage though a few matches i had nothing to show so sadly i did not make a video of it.

Luckily if you fail to get one kill we will not relocate you to a lower caste. Even if you fail twice :D

Thank you for the kind words. I do my best to understand the little teachings we know from the founders of the Clan. I do like to have most of my units vote on something when it changes :D I have been craving to find Bryan Nystrul's email to see if I can get the board game founder's notes or at least some extra information on the Ghost Bears. So Bryan Nystrul if you come across this thread :D I want to know as much as I can about your clan baby

My biggest concern is I have my first Child on the way so I have no idea how much time I can afford to commit to a clan, though Im willing to try my hardest to make it work, ive been waiting for this for a long time ( a new mechwarrior that is ).

I'm stuck in a car most of the day tomorrow, so I may fire up Megamek and get some practice in. Or MW4, although all I have for that is Mercenaries. Hmm...

Definitely don't have MW2, unfortunately. Lost my disc a while ago.

I have two toddlers, i know the how much it can take out of you, my boys are 10 months 10 days apart :)

We are a semi casual clan one could say. We often enough just hang out in TS and chat. So you can pop in when ever and just chill if you wanted, hang out with some fellow trothkin.

Most tend to play MWLL, a couple play other mech games, me being a strong one... love all things mechwarrior. TS3 is so much nicer than Vent XD SJ use it, and it never likes me. haha

Yeah i saw you register. :) When ever you get TS3 working feel free to pop in the channel TS9.gameservers.com:9144
