So I was lazily surfing my profile for no particular reason, when I noticed that your profile keeps track of your time played by maps.

One thing stood out:

I had 10 and a half hours logged on Terra Therma (my least favorite map). The next highest? Alpine Peaks (my next least favorite) at just under 8 and a half.

The matchmaker...IT KNOWS. *tinfoil hat on*

So, has map maker been nice or mean to you with your map preferences?

Alpine and HPG for me, however everything is decently close.

The archived stats on the other hand, Tourmaline has a full day more than everything else.

You have to add the times of the maps with variants together- Frozen City+Frozen City Night for example, as they are weighted half as much as the maps without variants. (Like if Terra Therma was 12% chance, then each of the Frozen Cities would be 6%).

I already took that into account. River City (combined) and Forest colony (combined) are at about 7 and a half each for me.

Don't forget to add your variations together. It will put you into River City Night, half as much as in Crimson Straight, because regular River City makes up the difference (from a probability stand point)

That said my Highest is still Crimson Straight.

When one combines the "variant" Maps as one, I am showing about 120 per map as an average, except Mining and Viridian, both of which are too knew to average out.

Caustic Valley, followed by Tourmaline, followed by Crimson Straight. All within 3 minutes of each other at 14.5 hours.

Oops... I forgot to add in my Archived time. My most dropped map is Tourmaline Desert.

Adding my archive puts Terra Therma at 24 hours, and Alpine at 20, with HPG Manifold at third at 19. River City (Combined) and Forest Colony (combined) are at 15.5 and 16 respectively.

Maybe I've grown to hate those two maps because I play them more?

Ah, righto. Yeah, adding in archived, Tourmaline takes the cake by nearly 6 hours more than any other. 55 hours total.

Ive got 1hr 24m on Caustic, I absolutely loathe that map.....next closest time is 1hr 14m on Canyon, kinda dislike that map, mostly cuz I get put on it so much. After that its 1hr on Crimson...behind that is 55m on some other map...

Maps I actually dont mind like Frozen city and stuff, I have less then 30 minutes on those...

My highest is crimson straight with just under 23 hours . alpine hpg and derper are all around 20 - rest are under 15.

Matchmaker used to love to troll me with crimson such a bad map for IS lurms when you know where every mech is going.

Since clan lurms it stopped trolling me since now I can do a decent alpha at close range to.

Oh the flood of tears when some meta cuddler comes toe to toe to your clan lurm boat and you show them that the meta wont save them because I don't need the meta to be good. But yeah I digress.

Without archived maps, and different variants combined, i am at:

~ 33h Crimson Strait
~ 32,5h Tourmaline Desert
~ 32h Terra Therma

Crimson is by far my worst map, and that i have to play it the most. Typical. Number of matches per map are rather close together. Despite being a huge map Alpine is only at 27,5h.

I rarely look and I don't really care, like most warfare you take the rough with the smooth its about addapting, the only real time I groan a little if Terra Therma on a laser boat

It was Terra Therma, probably still is. I don't like the map because it is too much like a Quake map. Too many MWO maps are Unreal-istic and deny the Battlemech terrain strategies that a player might devise, given the opportunity.
