The man asked a question why some had left, and I gave a reply as to why we did (a 70+ player unit). I could really give a flying flip as to how you feel about it, nor how you want justify our non-issue. Apparently others see an issue you don't, so maybe you should open ya eyes a little and not be so thickheaded. But yea, keep pushing forward (I mean loosing planets).

Do you tell the truth i like it this way, it was kinda of boring fighting pugs. Now that we have formidable opponents like MS, CI AND SSROT were fighting some good battles, and yea we will lose some planets and maybe win some. Just the nature of the game.

DERP spent 50mil to break its CJF contract. (and was a great move to be honest)

1. Lack of communication/coordination between units. Despite a going a number of different routes, only one unit seemed to be trying to work with us. Others kinda seemed to have a go it alone attitude.

2. After a day or so of figuring out what worked we were having a pretty high success rate. And when dropping solo or in small groups with other units, when trying to say "hey try this, its working for us" a number were quite vocal about continuing with their failed ways.

3. Lack of common comms, and people will to join when given info when one was provided.

And rest was pretty much to many people who were ******* to pugs and their own CJF members.

How you treat folks matters. Mercstar may not be perfect but we try to be respectful in matches and look to root out trolling when it happens.

Shy people problem? lmfao.. Just saying.. If you knew anything about any of our guys it is that there isn't a damn one that's shy..

And as I said, JFP is the only one that seemed had any kind of communication. Made post, went in streams, in IRC crap, even lords ts and everything else trying to get info on what "other" units were doing. You should know we had 15-30 guys in our ngng nightly.

You think all is good with how its done over here, go see how other clans/factions are doing it and then get back to me. (no offense)

I can back this up with our work with 3 factions directly so far, and our work with other factions indirectly. Some factions have good people who are willing to communicate but others don't.

I think just inviting people who are in a drop with you to your TS would go a long way. Last night I ended up in a drop with the 228th. They invited us to their TS and we had a great match. A lot of people are too timid or don't want people intruding but if you want to get a unified front going that would be a good start.

228 are good folks though, and have high quality people in their unit and leadership. Rare in that regard.

Hey if they keep it up they may try to recruit you next year.

And me 2 years after that. :P

I was playing with Ryan Steel and Adrian Steel back before they were the LORDS. Most of the OG retired guys are actually on my friends list, but I don't have any interest in competitive robot shooting. Also not nearly the ability, despite the game insisting I get put in matches with LORDS and EMPERORS constantly.

I'm not going to name names, both because it would be against policy, and because I'm not that kind of person, but I've lost respect with several good players because of the attitudes I've witnessed both in-game, and on the forums. Some of it may be rp-ing, some of it may be trolling, but when you've got a 12 person group mostly comprised of newer players that are just happy to drop in a group, and most of them despite getting stomped by mercstar will still say, "gg," I see a lack of reciprocity in terms of respect.

What do I see after "gg?" Well let's see, with all the times us and MS have come across each other, I've seen, "Not really, u got rekt," "Stop playing," "Haha, Clan Wolf sucks," "Wish we could get some real opponents," etc.

I've seen more respectful players in the Lords (before the split), and yeah, I know, it shouldn't really affect me, but I'm not talking about me. I'm talking about the large amount of strictly casual players that just love the MW IP that get super bummed out because of this, a lot of them not even wanting to play community warfare that much anymore.

You say you're not perfect and that you're working on controlling the amount of trolling. I understand that, as we've got enough trolls as it is in our own faction, but out of my time playing, MS is the most toxic group I've played against since the Goons. I'd rather let you have the planet via ghost drops than play against you.

Obviously this is just my own opinion and doesn't reflect the intentions of my unit, but it takes a lot to get me to post a 100% no bs, serious reply from me. I hope I don't come across as trying to stir things up, because that is definitely not my intention. You seem like you genuinely care, and I had nothing but respect for you in the past. I respect you're looking out, but to be completely honest, I'm not seeing much of it working.

Speaking as a casual pug who loves the BT universe but doesn't have time to join a unit and can only play occasionally, I have to say, who actually cares about trash talk?

I've dropped as a pugger alongside groups in CW and have rarely had a problem. The few times people have been all 'ggclose u guys suck' I've found myself thinking 'lol, well that guy's a ****' and not really being bothered. Seriously, are people that thin skinned that they let things like that bother them? Seems a bit pathetic really. If someone is a bad winner or isn't gracious in defeat well, they're really only making themselves look bad, right?

And as for lore based RP trash talk, I want *more* of that! I'm always ready with my best Nikolai Malthus impression on a CW drop :P

Honestly Grimwill, you have always been supportive to the Jade Falcon. I left with DERP and voted to leave because of the toxic members of Clan Jade Falcon. That horse has been beaten dead and then some. One thing that shocked me right after the move to CSJ was the cooperation the CSJ puggers have with groups. They jump in TS, they follow the plan. Stuff works here. Same stuff we did as Jade Falcons that failed. I always tell the team where we are TS wise, join other team's channels when they are in the larger group, and yet, even when 100% CW-pugging the EXPERIENCE is phenomonally better over in CSJ.

Not a bash against the guys who are sticking through it, but I am very happy with DERP's decision to leave.

So odd how the experience would be different. Just luck of the draw when it comes to people? Or something to do with moving to fresh fields that really needed help rather than starting strong?

I wonder if JFC had started off really bad, if they would have given you a similar experience as CSJ has, had you joined us now.

Anyways, I hope the hunting is good no matter where you are. I'll keep p(l)ugging along here and hope that I can make a difference.
