mwo is a perfect game to listen to music in the background. I have acquired this list that I felt a need to share, It just makes the game play so much better... in my opinion. It may be too loud or overstimulating for some, but I know others must listen to music and you should share to.

I like to listen to stuff like Nujabes. Amid all the chaos and explosions, you can hear the smooth music in the background..

This is what I always listen to when I have losing streak. Immediately lifts up my mood and makes the next match a breeze. ;)

There is only one answer to this question.

Mechwarrior calls for something orchestral, yet violent. Woodkid has that in spades.

I disagree. It does, however, explain how I can sneak up on so many unaware people and turn their CT red before they bother to turn around.

I gain a bunch of situational awareness from sound as well as being able to tell when weapons are recycling from the patterns of sound. I couldn't imagine removing one of my possible ways of detecting enemies in a combat game.

I agree when playing seriously (SRS MODE ENGAGE!!). In PUG mode, good musak helps dull the mind.

Uh huh... PUG mode would be that mode where you don't have teammates who can tell you a Timberwolf just walked around the corner behind you, right? :)

I don't take games serious, but the first thing I do in every game I play is turn off the music. I then only add in my own soundtrack if there is no advantage to hearing the ingame sounds. It just seems foolish to go into a combat situation deafening yourself. ;)

Zombie apocalypse will probably end any music appreciation I have. ;)

You are absolutely correct! That said, blasting someone with PPCs to the beat of a hard rock song has its merits...
