When i quit a match i go back to the mech hangar, which seems to be empty. A few seconds later the game crashes to the login screen.
This also happens after quitting in spectator mode or after finishing a match regulary.

Things that did NOT help :

- repair tool
- uninstall/fresh install of MWO
- deactivating the firewall
- installing latest nvidia driver
- whining messages to the devs :P

Someone a hint ? Intel Core 4 with GFX750 here.

I've been having the same issue. I have looked around a lot and no one seems to have figured out why it is happening. Currently I am not even able to log back in. As soon as I enter my login credentials I get "Unknown Failure" and it sends back to the login page.

After several 100dreds of tests it seems to have something to do with the internet provider. With some Vodafone 3G connect it works without problems, with my Unity Media 50k cable modem i get the "Unknown failure".

I did get a new router yesterday. But the problem started a few days before that and has only gotten worse. I played around with it on my laptop as well and I don't seem to have any issues with my laptop. Must be related to my desktop.

I seem to be having the same problems and have deduced it is a problem between the game and Charter Communications

The problem is related to internet connection, not the Account, PC or graphic card.

hopefully PGI has a fix

Would like to hear an update from the devs as well.
First with the infinite random redeeming loop. Now unknown failure during redeem.
This is getting ridiculous

Possibly DNS related.
Could try setting computer to use a specific DNS server (8.8.8.8 always easy) rather than the auto detected ISP server.
Also perform a DNS flush.

i nearly tried everything...
  • all drivers are up to date
  • changed from 64bit to 32 bit game client
  • run the repair tool
  • reinstall MWO
  • disabled anything ingame (VOIP, low graphics and so on)
  • installed MWO on my laptop, where everything worked fine, to check if the problem is related to the internet connection
  • hoped at least that the patch will fix my problem
but at least i got the same error again and again. what do we learn? it is not related to the connection, so it has to be a problem with the graphic card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 460)?!
