As part of MWO, treasure maps would be available in the store. These would contain C-Bill awards. Each treasure map would be locked onto a map grid on a map, and a player would have to enter into said map grid with their Mech to earn the award.

To kick things off, each player would receive three treasure maps.
One treasure map would say to to a Training map and unlocks 10,000 C-Bills
The other two would go to standard maps.

I vote no.

Matches can be a very closely run thing between winning and losing. You don't need people on your team running off into the middle of nowhere in a match to find the hidden treasure.

I'm not sure what inspired this idea, but it's not very fitting to what MWO is. It appears to be a meaningless distraction from the actual core game, and doesn't do anything to improve on it.

This might not be a good idea for standard play, but I can see where this would be fun for a community event of some sort.
