This problem has now turned into an epidemic. Seeing it in every match especially with Timberwolves. Can we please get this looked at ASAP. The mere fact that you can touch your JJ and it throws off Hit Reg is disturbing.

This game has no hit reg problems; (using obi-wan voice, while waving hand)

I think there are alot of people who don't understand how this bug works, so everyone that jumps is automatically "exploiting"

Only want to fix hitreg it to get more severs ,increase tickrate, block people with high pings and removing jumping and fast mechs. None of this is going to happen. We should just give all mechs jj.

Im going to say some people understand how it works, and some people don't. It's not just burning a full tank of fuel in the midst of incoming fire, there is a little more to it than that.

Somewhat, yeah.

It doesn't really mess with hit reg much past the normal issues the game has. What it does do is displace the mech entirely in a way that isn't exactly predictable due to the height that the mech jumps and the way it comes down. Which, in turn, causes you to miss.

People dont understand ping times and server tick rates. 200ms ping is about the width of a light when running full speed. That is if the server took you update live but they dont. So you add in lag, slow updating of posistions(ticks) and you add in another plain (x-y and z) you get crap hitreg. Fix this stuff isnt going to be easy all they can do is try to tweak it a little more.

Really if you gues think about it. Most of the players on the game have pings higher than when I was running a 56k modem 10-15 years ago. Its crazy this game works at all.

I dont agree with you. I have an Aussie ping (256 ms on average) and normally have very little problem with hit reg. The moment some jj pulsing timberwolf or firestarter (or whatever) comes on the scene hit reg goes out the window. It has nothing to do with aim i do that just fine.

With a ping like that I wouldn't exactly call your game experience typical... honestly it's a bit surprising the game registers anything well.

I have issues with two weapons hitreg wise. The AC20 (1 or 2 shots out of 10 dont reg) and asrm6 (i must chainfire to get good hitreg)
Apart from those two everything else is golden.
And i'm not the only person to have jj pulsing problem.

2 greatest offenders of the "glitch hop" are the Timberwolf & the Victor.

Fix those 2, and see where the rest are sitting.

Why can't this "just get done"..

As a fellow Ausie I agree with KharnZor. A 250-ish ping is standard for us, in about any online game we ever play that is based on an American (continent, not the country) server.

I know that similar issues affect our fellow gamers in almost the entire Australasian area. So I'm sorry to say this Adiuvo, but that is a typical game experience for a lot of us.

Never had any noticeable hit-reg problems with that ping. My problem, unlike KharnZor is just that I suck at aiming. ;)
