US:Awesome Samurai people with battlemechs.

Davion: Classic protagonist, not offensive, but beaten up for the story
Steiner: Politicians fighting for power and standing not their country
Marik: Canada, but in a purely South Park sense of the word
Liao: Diabolic, and ruthlessly devoted. Glad Fed Comm separates our countries.

Davion: "You will receive fair pay. If you can negotiate..."
Steiner: "Someone that can actually fight? Here, take some money! Take whatever you can salvage, too!"
Marik: "Here's your money. Now head on over to the arms show and spend that check."
Liao: "Wait, what are you doing here? That hitman was supposed- uh, here's your check."

Kurita: Warriors who look down on less-honorable warriors (everyone else, and even other Kurita mechwarriors in many cases), while being led by a scheming madman who, through feudalism, keeps his subjects almost as hostile to each other as the enemy. Theodore alone will make us better. The finest warriors.
Steiner: Wealthy, industrious, pampered, and with a military as incompetant as it is blessed with resources. When your Generals are picked from wealthy socialites this is inevitable. Often at the mercy of Kurita, until Davion distracts them with an invasion. Predictably brutish in military matters, ineffective against competant forces. The best supplied armies.
Marik: Republican, industrious, "free"; corrupt government on all levels. Far to busy with infighting to be useful against anyone else. The only people constantly able to be bullied by Steiner. Good food.
Liao: As Kurita, some of the finest people, but led by an even madder ruler. Socially progressive, but ruled with an iron hand. Devoted and educated citizenry. The best educated population.
Davion: Medieval, and not in a good way. People happy (mostly) because Prince Davion is a fair and popular leader (for a Monarch). People little more than farmers and laborers. Super-effective military based on clever tactics and generally good strategic decisions. The best military organization.
