Can we not draw the line at clans at this point?

Several attempts have been made to unify IS vs clans. Is now not that time?

Stop pushing our border and the clans will pay. I promise you.

Keep fighting like dogs over senseless scraps and we will all fall.

I for one do not want my gene pool spliced into the vat baby cesspool.

/PSA On.

I'm going to go OT here, because there is a fundamental problem that those on the Clan border just don't seem to understand. It's something a lot of us in the south have been saying, but the message isn't being relayed, translated, or even put in a memo.

STOP DEFENDING!

Those of us in Marik, Liao and Davion cannot attack, we can only choose to defend planets, when you jam your queues with defenders from your own houses, we are literally unable to get a match to help out because we're stuck in the ghost queue.

For reasons that are completely my own, I will not aid Steiner or FRR, that leaves me Kurita, and I can't help when you're throwing your weight at defending yourselves and locking up your queue. Stop it. Attack. Push North. You may find more assistance than you seem to think is willing to come help, not because we suddenly had a change of heart, but because suddenly there is space for us to help.

If you're attacking and find that your defend queues are empty, then defend, otherwise you should always be attacking.

/PSA Off

Organized units from the houses are not defending. Those are pugs jamming up the queue. In fact the HK border has the most Random PUGs dropping. My theory is that most fedrats just drop there so they don't hurt their faction if they lose.

I really wish only certain houses could help your border.

Maybe you were unaware of the current offensive vs the clans. Clan planets fell yesterday. Another would have.

Just give HK one night where we don't get backstabbed and more clan planets will fall.

you keep coming and we'll have to rename it New Wazan.

Y'all want to die on Old Kentucky we're happy to oblige you - in that regard you'll find it full of hospitable folks.

Not another Wazan

I don't think it will go that far since people are going back to work and school. It may still get crazy, though.

We need to get PGI to give us a special event. Where we get one planet on the DAV/MRK border to not have the 15 drop cap, and have no ghost drops. That could let us have a true meatgrinder where we both throw the full weight of our houses into it. Could be a great holiday event.

Not sure you are aware of this but the last 2 days there have been more HK units queueing up to attack Davion than Marik units. Not complaining, it's a solid tactic and we're suffering for it. However Kurita has largely abandoned their clan border to posh Davion in concert with Marik. We would be holding Marik just fine without 60+ Dracs howling at our north gate.

And this is why I love CW. The politics are fun to watch.

On a side note I have been having a great time on Tsinghai going against TMC. Keep 'em coming!

Depends on how fast PGI fixes the ceasefire issue by going to 'total wins' and just set the invasion window by sector so only X amount of matches can be played at any one time and make Ghost Drops tie breaker bait only or reduced value. They do that, yeah, then the whole 24 hour clock becomes dangerous.

I'm really anxious to hear what they have to say by Tuesday.

Well fought Marik. We apparently decided to not show. Crunch time we had about 36 players, total, on Davion worlds attack/defense combined.

It's going to be a painful month.

As a side note, I did not take all the Bourbon when the Davion forces were completely routed and forced from the field. You earned it and we apparently didn't want it.

And so...

The stage is set for Second Wazan.

Let the trumpet sound and carnage begin.

Hungry, Marik smiles
With joy. The angels
are weeping. Don't blink.

Lol. So since I am not working due to surgery restrictions (no moving more than ten pounds... I shouldn't even lift the cat....) I should help fuel this meatgrinder right?

We'll see how Wazan works out. Not sure if there's a larger population shift or just a temporary one but we really didn't even show up today; had some great fights. We lost one that involved the last 5 mechs hiding and sneaking in a rush to kill Omega.... while a bunch of the Davion units largely dicked around and made minimal effort to stop them. It was painful for us but absolutely well deserved win for the Mariks - a sneaky, cunning strategy that paid off in the end and deserves to be rewarded.

It was, ironically, the hallmark of the day for me. Marik was on their A-game, we barely showed and it cost us several worlds. Our first lost world to Liao since the early days of CW among them.

Hopefully the brutal drubbing we got gets everyone up and moving for tomorrow. Wazan is back on the list and it's got a reputation to keep. I look forward to seeing (and killing) you all there.

Repeatedly and with great malice of forethought.
