Wow I completely missed 16 and 17

But yes we missed what we assumed was battlemech 16's release date on Wednesday.

Expect something this week.

It's my educated guess that we'll see it on Tuesday, August 7th. As a "WOW! They really did it! They gave this magnificent beast." kinda thing.

I think it would be rather unimpressive. The Mackie has always been a rather lackluster mech. Just because it was the first never really impressed me because the stats came out what, 15 years or so after battletech started? I also don't like that the first mech was a 100 tonner...kind of didn't leave much on the table.

Stats wise, updated Mackies are better than Atlases, but it's just not very interesting to me. It's bland with an extra helping of bland.
