ok. lock the mechs in the game, fine. But enough with the lack of ability to drop into a second CW match. I have a hundred mechs, it takes 10-15 minutes just to drop into a match. There is no legitimate reason to lock my game up for an additional 10 minutes on top of that. It is intolerable.

Maybe eventually we can have multiple drop decks.

Maybe its there to prevent people from dropping mid-game after they feel they lost, abandoning their teammates, and then jumping into another CW game that the feel may have better chances?

Only if there are individual players. You have multiple mechs. This drop deck is supposed to simulate a lance/company/battalion engagement. If you are doing a planetary assault the government that is conducting the planetary assault has put together resources for thousands of mechs to drop in, with hundreds of thousands of service, support, and sustainment capability. The ability to install a planetary communications infrastructure and support the civil policing and peacekeeping for an entire planet including business and economical infrastructure..

so, either it's a planetary assault or it's a game. you can't have both. And if it's a game then stopping me from playing the game for a half hour every hour is ludicrous.

I agree that we should have multiple drop decks, there aren't enough players in CW atm.

Or maybe once you know where you are dropping and what you are dropping for you are given reasonable time to tweak your mechs and drop deck.

Be great to actually simulate a planned attack. Even down to putting on the right camo.

Not for me. As long as everything is equal it really doesn't matter. My opinion is that my time that I have available to play takes away from my time to work/earn money, spend time with my family, sleep, eat, perform personal hygiene, etc. Deliberately establishing a process that forces me to not play half the time that I have set aside to play is stupid.

If you lose all of your mechs long before the match ends, perhaps you're doing something wrong...

So use four of the 96 'Mechs you have that aren't locked in-game?

I'm sure it's annoying for you, man, but it works the same was as the Public Queue, and I'm sure they have their reasons.

ok so.. you play a mode that literally needs the most time....
question: do you play solo?
if so..... why are you dying so fast?
if not... why are you dead that fast and want to leave altho your mates are still in it?
hell if you get shot out of your mech you usually cant just sit in the next mech like nothing happened. thats what a sim would not do.

so normally. a CW battle is over. and all your mechs are unlocked as soon as its over. why should it take 10 more minutes to unlock them?!?

sorry bud but... where is the fish there?

OK so a 12 man drops vs a PUG ... the PUG say to hell with this and all leave ... instant win for the 12 man! then they get to go on to another match..... Also faster turn over benefits larger population factions ... lots of ghost capping going on now as it is!

The real problem is that CW was badly implemented with lots of exploitable features already in built .... multiple drop decks would just add yet another exploitable feature (player creates alt account , drops with enemy faction... leaves game ... repeats ... end result is that a lot of enemy teams start games a man down!).

PGI need to address all the issues in CW and balance out the factions. There is no reason why they could not implement 'eternal warfare' with fast matches being put together if they use their brains and work it out! The current segment system is just too flawed with matches being created on a timer .(takes too long).

The problem here could be more down to overall game population being too low to implement certain systems and there seems to be a desire to allow players to choose which planet to attack/defend. No doubt to try to immerse players into CW with the ability of units to claim a planet!
