Not any action taken by any of the organized Steiner groups.

There are some elements however that specifically claim to refuse to do whatever Steiner command asks or proposes.

The Mercstar Alliance tried to dissuade them from doing so but we were unsuccessful.

Furthermore the Mercstar Alliance will not attack or defend against House Marik/Free Worlds League during the duration of our Steiner contract.

I can't speak to the internal politics of the Lyran Commonwealth, but... from a gameplay perspective... a single Marik 12-man would've prevented it. They literally put the bare minimum effort into taking it.

Watch your queues, fellas, and adjust accordingly.

Davions took all of our attention. I think we were fielding half a dozen groups at most. Could be wrong though.

Can't complain though. Had very excellent matches against Davions this evening, especially against ACES and 22AL.

Eh, I honestly hope it's not something we do again. We thought we'd give "starting a fight somewhere" a chance for a change, rather than "make money while defending and continue to watch the red count go up after every match we 'win.'"

It was the most boring night of gameplay of my life. Yeah, our unit tag is on the planet...but it feels pretty hollow. We were hoping Marik would show up to play For two straight hours...they didn't.

I'm not sure why you thought making a thread and complaining about the attack would stop it more than say getting 12 people together to actually fight the attack off. If Marik had put as much energy into stopping the attack as they did posting and complaining about the attack the world would have been saved.

This is 100% a case of "You have nobody to blame but yourself."

Yeah, I'm not sure why you're complaining about an attack on your space by just 24 players of a Faction you don't have an official cease-fire with anyway.

Can't help but think some level of strategic thought would of prevented this...

I too am rather bewildered that there are a few Mariks complaining about getting ghost capped from behind. Not a single Marik paid any attention to Nestor while fighting Davion. All it would have taken is a click of the mouse to check.

Fact of the matter is that we did this as well to Steiner on Solaris. It's all Karma man... sometimes it just sneaks up on ya.

Yeah its my bad. I'm normally the one watching the fronts and raising hell at the first hint of ghost dropping. I've just been taking a break for a couple days to catch up on some shows I'm behind on.

We wrote worlds off to Liao for the last 2 days just to try and hold against Marik. Sometimes you've got to prioritize.

As one of the people who suggests where we focus House Marik's attention, I can tell you that the Steiner front wasn't considered a problem until it was entirely too late to do anything about it.

By the time it became a problem, we were completely ALL IN in attacking and defending on the Davion front, and it wasn't until it was all over that we noticed that there were twice the number of wins done in the final hour than in the few hours leading up to it.

It was brought to my attention and I weighed the risk and didn't foresee a final hour push. It's not Steiner's fault, they gave more than enough notice to what was going on, It was the fault of myself and the others who suggest when and where to focus.
