Still bugs me why the Novacats did not get official faction status. I would honestly think that if they were implemented they may get as much players, maybe even more, than Smoke Jaguar. Not to mention they have one of the most iconic mechs in all of Battletech.Battletech.

Soon. Clan Nova Cat shows up later on but with this CW being beta i dont think we'll be around unless they arent going to reset the clock again when CW leaves beta status. The mech beast as it is wont be for another nine years in this timeline.

But for now we are here doing whatever we can helping out our clansmen, even though CW is garbage xD

I am thinking they will likely compress the timeline because its commercially unviable to sustain it. The game needs are regular flow of content. Me think we can expect to skip a year or so.

Well, as was already posted. In game there is a CNCI - Clan Nova Cat International. They are mostly NA players (or at least were a year or so ago) and compete in many tournaments. Nice folks in general - lastkhan, Pariah Devalis are the two you can see around quite a lot.

Regarding in-game stuff, well... No Nova Cat, which is a bust because it is iconic. No Shadow Cat, because it is a bust because it is incredibly iconic. No Supernova (because... reasons?). Hard to build a faction with so many of its crucial Mechs missing.

Its kind of ironic, since in MW4 they are well represented. In the Dark Age and Age of Destruction sets, Clan Novacat are fully represented as a faction. They have their own sets and uniques like the Novacat figure in the opening post.

Well cause the timeline. MW4 is set after the invasion and DA is, well DA era. Im sure PGI will put us in sooner or later.

When it comes to battles and who we are with in CW. Pgi's got the clock and im sure they are going to go by it in terms of when CNC and CSV comes into play in the next wave.

I only have speculation on what they are going to do when introducing them but anjina was talking about MW4 mercs and DA. They be in different timelines in the mechwarrior universe. (DA was a kool click game but bleh story)

what will interest me more is seeing how they will add Nova Cat and Steel Viper. In lore, Nova Cat and Steel Viper came in and were given parts of other Clan's corridors. How would existing Clan players feel about doing all this work to create these corridors, just to have to give some of it up to make room for a new Clan to invade? And worst of all, a Clan that once it gets players, may not play nice and want to push on the Clan it was just given territory from? lol

Thoughts?

Thats maybe a possibility. Also another idea would be they make them "share?" territories and planets like CSJ / CNC and CJF / CSV.
but both having their own icons to distinguish them apart. When a clan takes a planet it would have the icon of that clan like CNC took this planet or smoke jags.

Our unit sees them as traitors after their repeatedly disruptive and abusive behaviour. Seems some of them are filled with bitterness for having to drop for Ghost Bears and not their own.

Giving that the population of players is stretch thin as it is among the clans, I highly doubt we will see nova cats, steel vipers or diamond sharks

However look for PGI to release clan nova cat package with colors, a war horn that purrs with every kill , and the shadowcat for 50 to 180 bucks,
