An observation that you may find encouraging (or disheartening, depending upon your world view):
I know that there are at least 975 Davions who signed up for this challenge. There may be more that have signed up, but have not yet participated. For the sake of my poor math skills, let’s just say we have 1000 signed up that have participated in at least one drop.
I think we can be confidently sure that our top 10 pilots have probably logged at least 100 matches collectively, not to mention the hundreds if not thousands of matches churned out by the top 100 pilots.
That means the other 900 or so of us account for the other thousand or two matches scored thus far (it reads actually 3629 total as of this writing, but by the time I post this it will be approaching 3700.)
That averages to about 10 or so matches each for the rest of us so far. Then there are those who have already taken their little dolly home after they finished their 10
th victory. Or perhaps my method of accounting is just plain wrong (that is, I’m not really sure how PGI is accounting for the # of matches for each team, e.g., perhaps a game with four Davs in the same drop counts as only one match for Dav, not four.)
Nevertheless, any way you slice it, we need more mechs dropping just to maintain our current place (not to mention securing first place.)
Even if you’ve already got your 10 wins and have your little kewpie doll, give us another drop, improve your overall score, and help assure victory for the Federated Suns. That sort of dedication is what makes the Federated Suns the powerhouse of the IS.
TL,DR:
