Here are the builds I've tried. I have fun with this mech and I think it just needs the right mindset.

Speed can get you in close for the SPLs and the LPL gives you that extra punch. Just circle around the slower assaults and rip up their backs.
BTW I have yet to elite them, most of them are still basic and I look forward to eliting them. They definitely won't be taking CW by storm anytime soon, but it works pretty good in PUGs.

Can't do it though right now. He literally has nothing to offer over a timberwolf who is 5 tons lighter. I know that its unfair to compare any mech to that but he literally offers nothing better or unique relative to him.
He really really needs a few perks.

Even compared to all of the other Clan heavies, and the Stormcrow, the Gargles is simply a very very inefficient use of tonnage. The Nova is roughly break-even.

It sort of feels like being that dorky big kid on the playground who doesn't realize just how big he is, which is ultimately a good thing because he doesn't have the heart to use his size to his advantage anyway.

You know a mech is bad when smaller mech can put up the same loadout as the one of its variants (Summoner vs Gargoyle-Prime) and do a better job.
Sad days.

I want to love him, but his huge terrain archetype is really killing my buzz.
Agility and speed is really all the poor lad has.....and because of that, he doesn't even really have it.
