i think there is use for modules that work as the reverse of the range modules we have now


less range for less heat. but make it 20% less range for 10% less heat.

this way we could have players run builds that were considered "too hot" for a tradeoff in range.

i think this would make the game more interesting without making anything overpowered

low energy modules, but they only make sense for weapons who actualyl produce real heat.

but I am not sure, this may cretae some broken siruations together wirj some IS quirked mechs.

10% less heat is a bit high. I'd probably cap it at 7.5% at best, 5% at worst. As for range decrease, I think a 10% cap would do.

actually you're right the synergy with the quirks might be a bit too much, it would have to be a pretty severe penalty


like 10% less heat with 25% less range and 10% longer cooldown.

that way you would have to really think about if you want this or not
