Seriously why not? the hellbringer arms look far better and more accurate to the original ones than the default square ones.

IMO MWO Timberwolf looks ugly as ****. Torso looks vertically compressed instead of horisontally like on the picture OP listed, and missile pods looks like extention of body planes. Way too blocky in general.

I actually like the Timber Wolf's design in MWO for the most part. The Torso is especially a huge improvement over all old implementations of the mech.

What I would change...
*Add the Hellbringer arms like MATRAKA said.
*Add a bit more shape to the legs. Make them less thick and blocky

Missile pods being smaller and lower profile is ok. Bigger pods would make the side torsos too vulnerable. If they were made bigger, I'd want the hitbox made part of the arm instead of the torso.

I agree with the OP as well, those arms add some flair to the design. Would also like to see it for the summoner's right arm.

To be consistent, I'd want to at least see those arms on the Timber Wolf Prime and Summoner Prime invasion variants. The standard Hellbringer arms are the same as the standard blocky Timber Wolf ones.

I don't have time to photoshop it now but I'd like to see what this would look like.

here you can compare, I will suggest making the arm a bit slimmer for more classic look but as it is its a great improvement.

And yeah those extra launchers look strange.

Not a fan of extra launchers on the timberwolf. They break the design. Rounded arms do look pretty cool I must say. +1

yeha shape is a bit better, but the original arms (left) fit better to the legs, because the Summoners arms are closer to the BT timberwolf, yet they don't fit to the cubig legs of the new TBR anymore. The upper tights of the TBR leggs are still too blocky, they would have to have roudn edges as well.

Agree with OP 100%. The rounded arms of the Invasion HBR look much, much better.

I like how the arms look in the reworked pic. Again, the torso was fine as is IMO, but I don't hate the narrower one either. The legs could be made to fit the new arms better.

Overall though, looks good.

Edited the original image, you're right I forgot to scale down upper torso after making it more narrow (vertically larger), should fit legs better.

I like the way it looks. Its not like a bomber cockpit was glued to a square with noodle arms waving around like the older depictions showed it.

The Twolf and Maddog need to squat more on their legs as well, they stand too upright.

A bad thing about the flat default arms is that the back of the mech is absolutely flat, the hellbringers arms can help with that back flat look.

yes and no, funnily they are in height correct, but PGI mechs' are shorther in total length and so they look more uprigth, while in reality they do indeed have the right height and wideness.

generally above all clan-chicken mechs, noses are shorther, and legs in their bows do not go as far behind as original ones.

The original TBR is around 60% long as its high, but the MWO TBr is only 40% as long as its high. the angle at the legs is wider and noses are flatter

same for the Nova and others

this was maybe made to not give them too much hitbox disadvantage over the humaoid shaped mechs.

+1 to OP.

Although in my honest and only personal opinion, they should redesign the whole model. MWO timber is one of the ugliest. NO offense meant to concept art maker, when i first saw the concept art in CSJ Alpha Galaxy's colors, i fell in love with MWO timber, but after seeing in game implementation, my sadness was tripled by the ammount of previous happiness. Upper leg part way to fat, model is way to blocky.
