Null Sig System, Stealth Armor, and C.L.P.S. (chameleon light polarization shield).
look them up on Sarna.net.
i would LOVE to see these technologies included.

"Cloaking" will likely come in the form of what we know from Battletech Technology so far. Gaurdian ECM and later Angel ECM, and Star League era Chameleon Stealth armor (that reduced a 'mechs thermal signature). There will be no "Star Trek cloak" - that technology was never discovered in the Battletech Universe.

Stealth armour is the closest thing in the Battletech Wiki. It is only available on a few, mostly scout, mechs and recon planes. It is also expensive and although I don't know this for sure, I expect that it will offer less protection than other forms of armour.
It will also make you overheat. Yuck.

Acloak (in the Star Trek sense) really has no place in the current BT universe. The Chameleon system was present on only a very few of the mech that could carry it, and they were used only for specialized "headhunting". Those mechs were the Exterminator and the Spector.

Didn't someone's archer have one? Won a duel against a Kuritan guy, didn't fire a shot, just let the Kuritan overheat himself. I'll have to go look it up.

That relates to an earlier reference in this thread that EyeOne made. Morgan Kell did it first, then Yorinaga Kurita and Patrick Kell. The novels never come out and say specifically what it was, but I don't believe it had anything to do with equipment. Basically, an enemy mech would simply refuse to see them as a target.

There was the Void Signature system developed during the Jihad by Word of Blake, and first used by the (rather wicked looking) Raptor II mech.

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Raptor_II
It is basically mech-scale mimetic armor, and is a very rare and experimental piece of equipment. After the Jihad ends, apparently only the Republic of the Sphere has access to it, and they are very careful to keep it under their control.
This is the closest thing to a mech scale 'cloaking device' in Battletech. It doesn't really render a mech invisible; it just makes it hard to distinquish from the surroundings.
Prior to that, the Star League developed the Null Signature system, which hide a mech from sensors, and the Chameleon Light Polarization Shield, which blurred its outline, making it harder to see, but not making it invisible.
Both systems were only used on the Exterminator and Spector mechs... although most Exterminator or Spector mechs didn't actually have them; only much rarer variants used by special forces did.

Then post-Clan Invasion, the Capellan Confederation developed Stealth Armor, which was an attempt to reverse engineer the Null Signature system.
In the TT game, it works basically the same, but has a couple different rules and construction limitations.

The CC have used it on many mech designs, especially those intended for their 'Shadow Lances' which use specific battlefield tactics that take advantage of their Stealth Armor.

I've played all the games and I've never seen or heard of a cloaking device. I'm kind of glad there isn't one. This is a genre largely based on realism. In other words, everything you see is quite believable and will actually probably happen when the Human race gets to that time period.(3050) But cloaking devices too? I kind of doubt it.

Kind of, as Actinous said. Morgan Kell did it with his Archer and Yorinaga could not target him. Later it was revealed that Yorinaga and Patrick Kell and learned the ability. It's never really explained how they did it. I just assumed they learned some incredibly secret and rare electronic warfare trick that they could apply to whatever mech they happened to be in.
Here is the wiki article about it. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Phantom_Mech
