Hey just wondering how difficult it is to work around having 2 Ac 5s on a mad cat, Currently I have two Ac2s two med lasers, two LRM 15s and the TBR Jump jet omni slots. And 2 flamers for brawling. Just trying to get the most bang for my buck with Ballistic weapons :)

Downgrading the LRM15s to 10s and removing the flamers should give you enough tonnage. You will also have enough slots to place only the AC5 and LRM10, so if you have any ammo, heatsinks, etc in the sides you will need to reposition them.

If you want to try a build with more dakka this is the build I run. Really effective and really fun.

this is a pretty common build: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...db6fe6de1422cbe

It's no laser vomit or gauss/med, but it's reasonably effective.

For this particular build I prefer sticking with purely direct fire, the LRMs don't really help me much. However it all comes down to personal preference in the end.

Definitely don't use flamers, though. There are strong weapons and weaker weapons, but most are at least usable at your level of play. But flamers really aren't, and having them hurts you more than it helps
Just swap em out for a pair of ER Medium Lasers.
