Don't give up hope. Just don't expect to see them anytime soon.

I'd love to see them. Who wouldn't?

I'm just skeptical. It seems that in all this talk of 'Reseen' and courts and HG, people are missing the unknown element. Robotech rights themselves are a giant mess. Say HG gets cool with letting PGI introduce the Robotech Reseen (they never will). What about when some other company in the giant legal war over Robotech sues PGI in European or Asian courts? The Reseen, contrary to what some seem to think, originally came into existence as FASA reached agreements with license holders. HG might not care or have grounds about the Robotech Reseen, but most countries have very different copyright laws from the US. PGi could be sued in numerous jurisdictions by numerous other companies for several reasons related to the Reseen not by HG but by someone else with a bone to pick in the Robotech wars.

PGI didn't go ahead with the Phoenix Pack mechs until they and HG reached a deal with Sunrise for this very reason (Sunrise owns Fang of the Sun and Crusher Joe from which the Shadowhawk, Locust, Thunderbolt, and Battlemaster derive).

It is highly unlikely given the legal blackholes that surround Robotech, that we'll ever see the Reseen in anything Battletech that wants to exist internationally where it doesn't already exist (the TTG largely gets to squeak by as all the fisherman have bigger fish to fight over, but who knows what they'll do about MWO). PGI is a small company. They couldn't afford becoming bogged down in this kind of legal battle, no matter how remote the chance.
