Actually the DD sorta predates the St Ives paint scheme, by a lot. (Pretty sure they got the idea off my constantly bugging them for the DD, tbh)
There sure isn't any stock info to make it a CHP Black and White police unit......heck Eastern Euro/Asian police cars don't even use that scheme.
