Errrr..... what's killing CW is two maps and one game mode.

Also, it's a beta, so you should be playing the ever living **** out of. Like balls to the walls levels of playtesting.

Years ago, I knew some playtesters for a mid-sized - and now dead - collectible card game. They were the self-professed "elite" of the game, and in return got promos, the right to run challenge decks against tournament players, first access to new cards, and so on.

A good chunk of them decided that they were NOT going to report the problems they found in playtesting, and they discouraged anyone else from doing so, either. That way, they'd have an edge on the other players because "winning is everything" and they would show "real skill" by failing in their duties and exploiting problems. This worked for a while, though the "skilled" players were hilarious bad in draft formats where they actually had to work with what they were given vs. simply buying up the broken cards they failed to playtest upon release.

For mysterious reasons, the game eventually died, in part from severe problems with unbalanced cards that grossly distorted the format and an apparent lack of playtesting that left the publishing company with egg on its face over and over again.

These types of folks are still with us - the games die, but they go on to create new problems. Take away whatever lessons from the above events that you will...

The company should have had a larger Beta team and have them separated so those that honestly want the game to be better could not be brow beaten by those who only wanted what is best for them.

Which I think PGI is doing pretty well Since you want a different game than I do and we both have our say right here in the forum. ^_^

I don't see ANYONE on these forums not reporting issues. They are simply waiting for PGI to fix them.

But you do have to admit there are some who want to shame the opposing view into silence. But most MWO players are grown ups who don't cave to intimidation or shaming tactics. ;)

If you, and your unit is involved in CW, please do us ALL a favor.

STOP PLAYING CW. [please note, I do not mean leave the que's]

You are not ment to "Play" CW currently. You are ment to TEST CW. that is why it's in a "Beta" Phase

Yes, please, test, complain, bring the issues to the table, but now is not the time to invest yourself into actively "PLAYING" Community warfare.

in Playing, you're investing the effort to actually achieve an end goal. You're not trying to break the system, you're not trying to game the system. When you play, you're doing what the majority of players are doing.

And that is the wrong mentality to have currently.

we have 1 mode, and 2 maps, that hardly counts for even an expansion pack. which is why CW is still in beta. Look at it as the beta test of the new MWO expansion Pack, they're TESTING these new modes, and we'll get new content every monthish until it's in a stable state. [which it clearly, currently is not.]

So to all of you who are crying, and complaining that CW is broken, or that it has issues... well no shite sherlock...

yes, yes I know, "it's beta" has been played out 2+ years ago. Trust me, I WAS THERE. But, given that this is under 6months delvopment time for what we currently have... I'm fairly impressed, and we HAVE to give them time to polish this. yes, they released at a bad time [holidays] and we haven't seen an update in near a month, but think of the metrics they can pull from the servers in that time!

Please guys, don't stop queing in MWO's CW mode, push it, participate in the TESTING of this new mode! WE NEED THE Testers... please, stop being a player, and be a TESTER!

I was told the best way to test something is to try to break it.

Yep its in beta. A good time to give feedback and test the waters for us players. They are adding new maps and changes fairly soon even. Any legit players not looking to troll should try and make the best of it until it is out of beta i think.

By "not playing" I believe the original poster meant to not take it so seriously because it is "in beta" and will change.

I think the OP simply didn't name 'piss in a beer bottle' for the reason ir just might have been in violation of name and shame, Not that 'piss-in-bottle' has shame, look what he named himself after lol.

Son... (I called him son), I talk to much! You have barely found out how to string words together. (NOTE: referring to the disparity in posts between us). Saying what you think is not always an attempt to hurt someone's feelings, but an indication that you say what you do, do what you say, and prove it. It's also been my experience, it is better to prove you can take an insult by actually taking the insult, then joke about it.

Also if taken "literal" "What you see, is what you get." You are an E-book. Cause all you are is words on a screen. ;)

For Future Reference, Your Wife LOVES you. If she LIKEs you she's just a roommate. I'm Married 26 Years now... That takes love, not like.

No, this will only figure out some bugs who occur during regular play, its not entirely covering good testing at all.

but for some real tests you would have to meet in an intentioned match where both tisdes truly test specific stuff. Like are weird positions where you cna stuck, or be untouchable.

with the current playstyle the regular battlestuff is causing this either to appear randomly with luck, or not at all.

like and love? both are just very subjective descriptions for a specific amount of sympathy, and being a wife of someone does not imply love. I guess we had enough Rl exapmles proofing this, LOL. May this be couples divorcing each other soon, or patchwork. But the definition WIFE is not subjective.

The divorce rate is due to people not actually loving. Wow the Wiki definition of Wife is... Dry and devoid of emotion.

My Wife is the reason I get up and go to work every morning, everyday, for six solid months, Why I endeavor to be a better man than I was yesterday. She is the driving force of my very existence, and the very definition of love. Without a second thought I would kill or die to save her(and my children's) life.

Someone I like... Would not inspire a fraction of that.
