I just bought a skill I don't need to hit OK to confirm it.
But you just accidentally bought that skill with GXP instead of MXP, are you sure you want to do that?

What if you pressed the exit button by accident? (Though I understand you here, and agree on this one.)

I know it costs money to add armor.
I know it costs money to buy weapons.
But what if that was a MC module you where placing on instead? (Need to treat any permanent alterations that cost you anything fairly equally.)
I accidentally spent money checking out an engine switch, didn't like it, switched back that engine to what I thought was the old engine, and ended up now not being able to buy X instead. Are you sure you want to buy that?

I don't recall any confirmation about "changing mechs"... Am I missing something here?

I know you gave me an achievement that you just had a separate popup for.
I understand this one. (Then again, it might just be a piece of their coding that makes it "inform you and confirm" before it can give you the item. Just a possibility. (Also, before the edit to the January Roadmap, it stated that even PGI is disappointed in the UI2.0, and that they intended to take another look into it when CW is more stable. But it's been edited as of recent.)
Some confirmations are good, such as changes that can permanently effect your monetary (in game, real or even experience) values and/or permanently change a loadout. Others, such as exiting the game, launching a match, canceling MM and earning an achievement (among other such examples) can possibly be easily removed.
