been away from MWO for well over 2 month (mostly because of rigged matchmaker/elo-sytem)
saw this, thought "well, you could try again..."
played exactly 20 games
achieved exactly 0 points (losing 16 out of 20 games...)
uninstalled MWO for good

OK this is getting ridiculous. Almost every game I'm seeing people killing their own team so they can get kills more easily. I've had multiple games where the people in my lance who group queued turn on me the second the game starts. There needs to be a no-team-kill requirement.

Never mind how many times the game has crashed at the start of or during matches (I'm at 16 TIMES IN 2 HOURS).

Same with me but I work all weekend too so that's why I am sure I may not get the Phract. I see people stating they have had 20 games or so and not won. I played a few last night...won one game but that's part for me on a day I worked.

just don't have the time with me doing overnights on weekends but what few matches I did get in seemed pretty fun. someone needs to create a meme of a herd of kittens with lrm pods all over their bodies to represent the matchs tho. direct fire is easier to get kills ppl, honest.

Not that hard. I'm not very good got my 3 wins in around 7 matches. I'm at 7 wins after 17 matches. The secret is use the Mechs you're best at.

24 matches. I achieved one kill or more in 20 of them. However, teams only won 10 of those matches.

Can beat enemy mechs, cannot beat PGI MatchMaker.

At this rate I'd need to play for another 22 hours to get to 30 points.

Not calling you a liar, but those are stunning stats, been here two+ years, average player and I've been team killed a total of 4-5 times at the most. Once or twice at the hand of MY OWN friends screwing around...
I've accidently team killed fellow players...maybe...three? times during that same span.
In one day, 65% off of those matches, you were team killed?
I'd be grabbing screenshots and reporting up a storm to be frank.

The outright intentional team kills are only about 5 games. But a lot of people are choosing to shoot THROUGH their teammates rather than avoid team damage so they don't have to re-target or shooting blindly at locks without regard for what is in the way trying to score lucky hits (And then apologize on the team chat later). I'm getting it a lot from that since I pilot lights. It's way worse than normal. People are absolutely determined to stay on target so they can get the kill even if they kill their teammate doing it.

Hm. My stats did not lie. (sadly. I have only heard of green W/L and K/D stats in your profile, I think you guys are colorblind or something)

Turns out it roughly works out as calculated. 1 in 5 Wins gets me a Kill (assists no problem)

I did 15 games or so, got the Premium time. which roughly works out at 150 matches to maybe get the CTF. Which is way too much for me to consider doing. I would rather read a book.

On the one hand. I am impressed by the team doing the marketing and event design. On the other, it actually works like this>

Give many people a smallish, relatively easy goal to provide the targets for the competent players.
Give good players validation and keep everyone regardless of skill playing and buying stuff.

And I have to say, the formula works. All in all well done PGI.

Ironically, your stats are exactly the same as mine. I'd have to play 150 matches in total to get the 30 points.

Unless maybe all the losing teams would actually lower my Elo to the point where I get handed some more competent teams, or something (?) /strokes chin thoughtfully

12-mans must be finding it a lot easier.
