I'm not sure if this is some coordinated trolling, but wow...
Is this legit? If so, where can I see the source?

Russ Bullock, president of PGI (y'know, the company that makes MWO?) did a thing on No Guts No Galaxy's Twitch channel where he answered questions from the player base. He's been doing these monthly since they got rid of Infinite Boat Anchor (Infinite Games Publishing). Apparently, a lot of awesome stuff got dropped this time around.

And me stuck at work with limited net. :(

People are more excited about the Urbie than VOIP if thread count means anything. ;)

I just posted a summary in the general chat that I took, it's messy, but it gets the job done.

One time, I played a game of Battletech on megamek using a bunch of urbanmechs trying to defend their home city from a wave of assaults.

The urbanmechs eventually won. But there wasn't much city left. Assaults make messes when you're fighting them in enclosed cities. :D

Even a light 'mech makes a pretty decent police roadblock I'd imagine. Curse you unit stacking limits!
