As the title says, one of the often repeated complaints with CW is that teams start to get rolled, their enemy camps their spawn points and destroys them seconds after they drop.
A very simple fix is to randomize defender LZs within the defending zone and the attacker LZs within the attacking zone. If there were 6-8 potential LZs within each area and the dropships were designed to prioritize them according to proximity to key objectives+safest distance from majority of enemy mechs, it would make spawn camping nearly impossible.

Or have dropships stay on station if lz is being overrun.

That would heavily encourage spawn camping as a defense.
Really the battles already over if your being spawn camped, it makes little difference if you land and die or walk a little bit and die.
