when I first started playing my ping was acceptable,maybe sub 200 then over months it went to 230 then 255 and today it has been as high as 800 odd and steady anyone know what I can do to alleviate the problem?maybe hacks?

Check it with your ISP first.
If you still have high ping issue, then for the duration of the tournament, just stick with LRMs.

ISP will tell him everything is fine at their end (after extensive ass scratching and solitaire games).
My connection to the servers took a dump after all the clan stuff came out, works fine with every other online game..just MWO that's screwing the pooch from what I see.
