Hello!

Since CW came out I've been having an issue with FPS dropping from my normal 60 to around 8-15. It does this for a few minutes, and then returns to 60. The pattern is completely random. It happens in pug drops and CW, but not in private matches.

Here are my specs:

Lenovo y510P Laptop
CPU: 2.4 GHz Core i7 Third Generation
Ram: 8 GB
GPU: Nvidia 755M W/2GB Dedicated
HDD: 1TB HDD + 8 GB SDD (for frequently used apps)
OS: Windows 7

My game specs:
All settings turned to LOW except:
Textures - Max
Object Detail - Max
Fullscreen is ON
Resolution is 1920 x 1080
(I used to run the game at high settings with 35 FPS, but the low spikes were even worse, and I only really care about texturing and detail, so I left the rest low)

What I've tried so far:
1: Running the repair tool, multiple times
2: Updating drivers for the GPU (which are, in fact, completely up-to-date)
3: Updating Windows 7 (fully up-to-date)
4: Using the 64-bit client (same exact issue, no better)
5: Cross-examining the issue with other intense games like elite-dangerous and Shadow of Mordor (doesn't appear in either, or dozens of other games)
6: Using full-window mode (no effet)
7: Running C-cleaner to clean all caches and repair the registry
8: De-fragmenting the system
9: Uninstalling all of the Visual C++ versions installed on the computer (couldn't reinstall, widows doesn't let me install VC++ anymore, not sure why, but the issue didn't change when I removed it)
10: Checking for background applications (none are open, or in my startup)
11: Checking for Malware with Malwarebytes

If I've done anything else, I'll add it on there to the list.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm..off the top of my head the only thing I could think that might, maybe, help is use Defraggler to defragment the hard drive. It will completely defrag if you tell it to, can specify specific files/directories etc. Another thing that might help is you can set it to do a boot time defrag of your page file which can help speed up Windows and might help. Also if you have huge files, such as movies, it can move them to the end of the disc to speed up search times.

The second thing that occurs is to change one setting at a time, and raise it up a notch, not down. I actually had some improvement raising a few settings, as apparently sometimes lower settings are processed more by the CPU and higher ones by the GPU. Not a expert on this, but read about it, and it worked for me.

Lastly, make notes right after a match where this happens with any details you remember. Lots of LRMS, flamers, 5 mechs on the screen, zoomed in etc. It maybe one particular thing that is causing grief. May not be able to avoid it all the time, but at least knowing might give us a clue.
