Hi Devs,

well the game got good enough in the last months to not to crtisize it harsh.

But, hey, Patching?

In this times of internet, this patching is going to go the wrong way.

It smells like the patch-programmers are getting an orgasm on doing the (good) job.

Though i was one of those always called for "patching", with an over SIX = 6 GB game (MWO) sending out a patch....

Hey people, install a torrent sender-server and let the whole files being get downloaded ...

Anything else is a loop back...

AND

the time you save on the patcher you can go and

WRITE THE CLIENT THAT IT DOES NOT REQUIRE ADMIN-RIGHTS TO START!

YOU ALL CALL FOR SAFETY, I (and some smarter guys out there) DO WHAT YOU SAY, AND BAMM, YOU WRITE YOUR PROGRAM ONLY FOR ADMIN-RIGHTS !!!

WHO ticks wrong here?

Best regards

And go back to the compiling room ;)

And bring the next patch as full download and a client-update for standard user account :)

I'd recommend you check your Windows account settings and notifications before you blame the Devs for that dude. It's really simple to turn off that option even if you're not the administrative account on your PC. Just sayin'.

So much QQ over so much nothingness.
What a waste of time. And capital letters.

The patcher actually decompresses the PAK files on your HDD, applies the changes and then packs them right back. And since those files contain a couple of GB of data it takes rather long and is very taxing on your system.

I think they already did this in the last patch? Granted they didnt highlight it in caps but thats why the user folder moved.
My UAC popup stopped asking anyway, still needs Admin to patch but not the client.

A new patcher/repairer is only a few days work and well worth the effort because corrupt files is a major problem for people and must be overloading their support and turning a lot of new customers away when their game corrupts and is hard to fix.
