Tonights public solo que is an absolute joke, seriously before I can even move my assault(only role you can play due to some know nothing wasting the precious tonnage) into position 5 teamates are dead, this is killing MWO for me, the level of suck is too GDamn HIGH!

With the Challenge up ppl is massively taking LRM boats. Assaults are having a bad time, but it will not be forever.

QQ much clearly not the only class I play is assault, but why would I leave the roles that actually require you to hit the target when I could do some superior job @ actually hitting the mark when I fill the slot.....rather than let the likes of you die with all your ammo.

I'm so glad you posted that. As a noob pilot, I already know I am a noob. I don't need to be insulted in game as a reminder. One thing I have noticed on the opens my first 10 days, there are two types of pilots at MWO:

One who blames his team when he loses
One who leads his team and gives them good advice on why we lost

I hope you understand how silly the "leet" persona looks to those of us who have played MMOs most our lives. Its so 1990's

Do you really think your frustration needs to be vented in the New Player Help forum? If you're being matched reliably with new players, it might say something about you - but in any case this does not belong in this forum.

I understand your annoyance, but if you're really concerned about the "level of suck" in the solo queue, do something about it. I did - the results are in my signature.

Mods, can we get this thread deleted? It appears its sole purpose is for a frustrated player to abuse those he perceives as less experienced than himself. This is the antithesis of the purpose of this sub-forum.

I am the atlas, So yeah. Like I explained 4 matches in a row, before I can even move into position with the other 2 lances......5 teammates will go off and die. than the score is 5-0 and you cant come back from that. My attempts to lead said pugs 7/10 results in the same way when they run off die despite what you say, Mining Collective-lets brawl in the middle so the snipers can get high ground and smoke us// Lets repeat it time after time. after time, Like I said, Its dismal @ best

And you white knite'ing the problem into non existence is just as much a problem..........Are you not supposed to come in here swinging with L2P? Maybe don't run an assault mech then. Assaults are tough to run because even though they have the most firepower, they are also the easiest to get into trouble because of their slow speed. Instead, try a heavy or a medium and see how you do.

On another note, everyone has to be a rookie at one point or another. It takes time to learn this game and a lot more time to become good at it. So instead of complaining about it, how about you offer to help and give advice to the rookies?

We do want this game to grow, at least I know I do. We need the new players, and we need to help them out and teach them the ways of being a good mechwarrior pilot.

There are actually three types of pilot.
#3 The player who tries his/her hardest, and gets so frustrated at his/her team mates because they actually DO let him/her down badly. The same team mates then become very defensive and simply refuse to accept what they did or didn't do.

That's where the op's whine is coming from. Sometimes as a new player, it may be prudent to listen to a rant or two-understand they may just be frustrated (it isn't really aimed at you-you may just personify at that moment the rager's frustration) and accept the fact they may know better than you. I know they shouldn't be rude but sometimes people are rude.

Oh and if someone does give you advice or says move guys, move up or something similar please do listen. One tip I'll offer right now is: The more passive you are, the more you will get beat.

This is not one of those cases, no criticism or advice was offered, just hostility.

He only posted this here rather than in General Discussion because he figured that newbies would be less inclined to call him out on his bullshit.

That's what the report feature is for. Crying for help within the thread, rarely summons a moderator.

I reported the thread hours ago, all I am doing now is to wait for the result. In my opinion the best way to handle bad threads: Report and ignore (meaning: do not answer the thread*)!

I'm sorry, but where did you post that people should listen to commands? Where were you pointing out shortcomings?
