I'm popping in this place for but a brief period of time, & I'm here to ask this: Are you all having a hard time finding people to play with in this mode (hence the thread title?) Or are the front lines rife with activity?

What you're seeing is not a plethora of treaties, you're just watching CW slowly die because it's getting stale and boring. The patch coming today should spice things up significantly - expect more players in the planet queues throughout this week.

The only peace treaties I'm aware of are:

Davion-Steiner (Fedcom)
Marik-Liao
Marik-Kurita
Rasalhague-Kurita
Clans-Clans (sorta)

That's totals to 7 peaceful borders.
Which leaves 10 active borders, which is more than enough for the CW population as it stands now.
The contested borders, ordered by faction would be:
Spoiler

While most clans have a treaty with each other the Mercs do not. Some merc units switch back and forth between their Clan employer and another faction that allows them to hit another Clan, then jump back to their original clan. They rinse and repeat every week.
