Please fix the launcher, after the looping problem earlier in the week that forced an uninstall/ re-install fiasco, here we are as the last hours of the challenge tick down and guess what, broken launcher again.
Keep getting a there is a patch that needs to be downloaded when I hit play.
Repair tool broke the launcher completely.
Uninstall /re-install and now the game won't finalize the patch for not being able to connect to the server or whatnot.
Now when I launch the game it just patches for 2 seconds then crashes.
I have re-installed 5 times to no avail.
Please fix the launcher and extend the challenge for 12 (or how many ever you see fit) more hours or another day please, I was 8 wins from my prize and will be a sad panda if I went through that hell just to get messed over like this.
Am I the only one having this issue?

I had the patch problem last night. Ran the repair tool and tried again. Got an error that the mwo.exe file was missing. Ran it again overnight and tried again this morning and it worked.
Like you, I'm getting a bit tired of the constant CTD's & having to run the repair tool 3-4 times per week. Love the game, but it has to be the most unstable client I've ever experienced. They're definitely going to have to resolve this if they hope to get on Steam and have the new players they say they want. People unfamiliar with the IP or just looking for a fun F2P game aren't going to put up with that for long.

Well after doing a system restore to the other day when I had to do a re-install gets the game to launch again, but it brings up an error window saying " there was an error while connecting: The remote name could not be resolved: 'patcher.mwomercs.com'
would you like to retry.
hitting yes will bring up the launcher again and it goes all the way to log-in but after you put in your info and hit enter it tells you there is a patch to download.
this blows! I have never had a problem with the launcher till this week.

I had to do a reinstall Friday for this problem.........and the download took forever.
