So what gives? Drop in a CW defending and get zerged because there aren't any generators to defend any more?

No, the generators were there but weren't neccessary to take down. Took the cannon down without touching a single generator. AND the generators didn't show a bar indicator whatsoever.

Was in a match against 3 Kurita units, all did an extremely effect light rush against our PuG group took out the 3 gens and started working on the cannon before being taken down.

Units were (and I am sorry if I get your Unit Tag wrong, wife and kids decided to agro me multiple times so I am certain I can't remember exacts)

It was a fun match and they decided to brawl it out even though they could have won the game early.

By chance are you mistaking the gate generators for the omega generators? I'm pretty sure once omega is open those generators disappear from the hud.

OMG, lack of detail? I asked a simple question - is that so difficult for some peeps? You want details, here they are:

The very last drop right before midnight CST; Kurita (combination of 9th Sword & Night Scorn) team attacking on Sulferous Rift map. Didn't grab a screen or recording, wasn't aware I "needed" it to just ASK a fn' question here.

Immediately after match, CW went to ceasefire.

Oh, I also had a twinkie in the aftermath......any other "details" you want jeirhart, or are you convinced I'm not blowing smoke by now.

Not impressed by your condescension.

No, as soon as the lights jumped the gates at Alpha, we (at Beta) turned to meet them and they went straight for the Cannon. It had me really puzzled and looking at the top of the screen, there weren't any bars for the Omega. They hadn't even got halfway from the gate to where a generator was even close when I looked at the top of the screen.

Hey knucklehead, why don't you take another look at your "logic". If I said there weren't any generator's indication bars (in other words, wasn't neccessary to eliminate), then the cannon doesn't need THAT requirement to be filled to be attacked. Like they had CW before the generators were brought into the game.

See, THAT is what's so frustrating from you - you aren't listening or paying attention to anything here. I asked a simple question, it wasn't a trolling of any type.

You may have been in the same match as me, I in front of the Cannon looking down Beta when they jumped Alpha, a few jumped Gamma too from what I could tell and they ignored us defenders and zerged the generators, it was extremely fast they were in Spiders and the like. basically took all 3 gens down together.

This is the level of detail we were hoping for. A solid description of what happened besides "aren't any generators" so now we have a better idea of what happened.

Sounds like that group exploited the Orbital Cannon's geometry and shot through small open parts of the shield. Thus, they were able to destroy Omega before destroying the generators that operate the shield over Omega.

Now we know that if we run into the groups 9th Sword or Night Scorn to look out for this activity and be sure to take screenshots or capture video of it occurring so we can report the use of this exploit to PGI.

Pro Tip: Adding a screenshot helps backup your question, because it negates the possibility you made a mistake.

Stop being so hostile. Nobody has ever experienced this bug before, so it's more likely you just read the bars at the top wrong, and without a screenshot to back it up, the odds are greatly against your viewpoint.

I was standing on the platform facing Beta direction. Lights were called jumping Alpha, I was in a SCR, immediately turned and headed to intercept. Counted 6 lights, moved towards where I knew the generator at Alpha to be, but instead saw them all ignore Alpha gen and go straight for the cannon. That's when I looked up at top of screen. There wasn't a single bar for any gen. I find it hard to believe that 6 other lights took out the other 2 gens in what was apparently about 7 seconds from the time the light's were called at Alpha.

It's possible to sneak in shots at the cannon when the "gate" is still up. There's (or was a while back anyway) a small gap between the gate and the edge of the cannon that you can get a laser through. You need to have a pretty good angle thought so I'd say it's unlikely that a whole
team manages to get in position and get the cannon down while there's still defenders.

Come on now, if I were here to troll, I can see some of the responses others have thrown; to ask a simple question, I don't need any screenshots or recordings or friends witnessing, etc. Reread the BS thrown at me and then tell me again not to be hostile. I simply return in kind what is thrown my way.
