Ability To Blacklist Maps For Urbanmechs?

That is unless it's a 12v12 urbanmech fest on alpine peaks.
Yes I guess you could equip it with (at most) 2 Ac2s but are you really going to do that to urbie?
It wouldn't make any sense for Urbanmech players to drop on a map that the mech clearly has no chance in (unless you are the Capellan's).
So could we agree that the Urbanmech should at least have the choice to not deploy on maps it will be inevitably bad at?
No this isn't like how assault mechs do in Alpine Peaks. It's that there is no way in hell that any Urbanmech build will be anything but a liability on those two maps.

I would however love to see a real urban style map, like a combination of River City and Mech Factory all rolled into one with a big sprawling close quarters city, maybe a park area to break it up somewhere, and an industrial area, factory like area somewhere in it maybe. (like the portion of river city opposite citadel, but on a bigger map.)

I'd love to see a large urban map similar to the opening of MechWarrior 3. Destroyed buildings with lots of tight spaces and cover.

If they are close to cannon, they are going to lay the hurt on you, if they get the drop on you, the UM-R60L packs a big freaking gun in that AC-20 on a light mech...

It makes it kind of fun, like a game of "keep the ball away from [the enemy]".

So... it's either Urbies Everywhere or bust.

Oh no, there will be none of that. If I cannot pick the mech I want to drop specific maps with, then you have to drop in your waste of development time on whatever map comes up.
