So just thinking of the "lets spam 12 variants of existing clan mechs onto the gift store for $231 trololol" approach:

Although these might not offer anything particularly new, especially grand dragon, why not tart up the dragon model to look a little bit fancier, stick a couple of wings on the spider model (and up its tonnage by 5t) and release them as 2 new chassis, at least that way the mech roster becomes 2 chassis closer to completion?

Would be good to see these "filler" mechs in months like this one where theres no hero mech and no actual new mech to buy.

This could possibly work too if liberties were taken on the design of the shoulders and waist.

Why bother with HSR or CW issues when you would just pick something else to complain about?

That said, yeah I want those improved too, but in this thread I want to talk about possible shortcuts to new battlemechs, mostly because ive been wanting the venom for a while and I have nothing left to level other than the 12 addon clams that im not buying for $$

Short work for PGI, new chassis for all the players, and the similarities between models would reflect the lore of the mech chassis origins.
