I absolutely HATE the new override system. Override in my mind will always mean a "this instance" event. The over ride would work for 5-10 sec max and then revert back to it's safety position. If left on during the heat of the moment, its a sure way to die during the next engagement. Would your country toss a multi-millon dollar war craft away for the want of a 5 dollar switch. You would be nuts to think so.

PGI look at the real world. Overrides if designed for operations and not maintenance will ALWAYS auto off. If you do not believe me go to a local factory and ask the maintenance personnel. Of in the case of a war craft, ask a jet pilot. Yes they do have auto off switches in the cockpit.

Heck I have them in my car to operate my power windows and seat warmers.
