hi, just wanted to know which firestarter you think is better to use and get used to:
1) Firestarter with 8 Small Pulse, 138m range, cooldown -17%
2) Firestarter with 6 Med Pulse Laser, Range 242m, cooldown -17% (If you wonder why i can install 12 tons of weapon with so much heat: i have no single heatsink, Only the 285xl engine with double heatsink, but 30% reduced heat generation through quirks.

figuring out since days what suits me better, but getting almost crazy. With the Med Pulse Laser i cannot shoot to often, before it gets hot, but its 36 damage and i dont have to get too close. The small Laser Variant is much more effective, because it fires way faster, but i need to get very close. With the small Pulse Laser i feel like i have to wait until the others go first and then join a fight, where the enemy mech(s) are already busy but this chances are rare and very often i just run around. On the other hand its so nice to catch a lonely assault with this setup but this also happens not very often.
