OK, I get that you need to finish the matches and add things up. Hence the 30 minutes.

I guess what I really mean is, why are ALL planets affected at once?

It might make every one happier if instead each planet was given one of eight slots, and they were taken out of the rotation in turn.

That way seven of eight planets would be available at any one time.
