Hey guys, glad to see you have put the band back together. I found My XBOX 360 in the basement the other day collecting dust and decided to turn it on for a while and heard Asaru's message. With a family of 5 gaming has been a much lower priority in my life over the last few years, and the POS Wii is pretty much all that gets powered up. Death from above with 100 ton mechs is a far cry from digesting baddies with Kirby, and I miss the mech world.
Wifey is adicted to FB and her cell phone word games, so I think I'll use that as a good excuse to get back into gaming.
I'm still learning about MWO and have played a couple rounds with a test mech. I bought a new PC recently, and if I buy a new GPU, I should have a decent gamin system. Is there a noob guide beyond the training vids?
From my initial couple hours poking around it looks like you have to buy MC credits to get anything besides the test mechs, and you have to have a purchased mech before you can earn XP for pilot upgrades? So this whole "free" thing is not so free if you want to be competitive?
Maybe it's my GPU, but even on the lowest resolution and the lowest quality it's insanely jerky and very hard to aim or lock on. Perhaps some of the pilot upgrades will help with this as well.
I'm also digging through the site and forums to learn what these "founders" and "Legendary" packages are all about and how much they cost (or maybe they aren't even avalible any more?)

DenverDude,
The Founder packages are no longer available. But us C4 guys are on the Davion Teamspeak server every night.
Address for the server is in the Davion forum.

Denver,
Good to see you. If you get on the game or on teamspeak3 we will walk you through some of the noob stuff and see if your game gets any better.
I wouldn't be surprised if you will need a better GPU if it's herky jerky right now. If you get onto teamspeak3 we are on the House Daviod server, under the channel "C4".
