This is true, especially with the omnimechs. Also note that any omnimechs, regardless of tech base, can't mount hand and/or lower arm actuators if the arm has any Gauss rifle (barring anti-personnel Gauss rifles), autocannon, or PPC. I'm not clear with the lore explanation, but I imagine that the omnimech technology with the various multipurpose connection points with certain weapons might conflict with mounting additional arm actuators.

Additionally, lower arm and hand actuators are always considered pod-mounted on omnimechs. They can never be fixed equipment.

I've been fighting this all day.
Why do Mechs have fists?
Cause it's impolite for them to flip the bird! :lol:
