[Wolftrap]

Light: Panther
Medium: Griffen
Heavy: Archer
Assualt: Battlemaster/Victor can't decide

Also Uziel is a Inner Sphere mech....its just not made until 3063 or there abouts. TRO 3067 is when its first gone over and its completely different build from MW4 Uziel(LBX 2...ugh, and lasers with srm pack still).

If we're talking pre Clan:
Light: Valkyrie. Long range light Mechs make me happy, perfect in a lance to harass and overwhelm dem slow short range heavies.
Medium: Phoenix Hawk. A great blend of speed, firepower, and armor.
Heavy: Crusader. I love me some missile boats.
Assault: BattleMaster. Too badass to ever ignore.

Favorite Clan Mechs:
Light: Adder (Puma)
Medium: Storm Crow (Ryoken)
Heavy: Timber Wolf (Mad Cat)
Assault: Executioner (Gladiator)

Yuo, not Clan (unless they took over Defiance Industries when I wasn't looking... darn it!), but also definitely not pre-Clan. Since it was not introduced til after the Twilight of the Clans story arc. But gotta admit, one of my fave all around chassis in the Mechwarrior 4 series. (thought the TO 3067 version and miniature suck!)

The mauler in particular is a light mech trasher with his AC/2s

Nightstar and Devastator are great against heavys and assaults and slower mediums but fast lights and mediums can cause huge headaches.

And marauder simply for being marauder XD

Well, i reckon I didn't specifically rule out Lostech mechs
(Devastators are very very nice! Actually, ANYTHING with multiple gauss rifles is, lol. I have a Mech called the WarChilde that is equipped with 4 of those beauties, backed by 4 ER medium lasers. Lovely part is even with only 10 freezers, an alpha strike barely causes a glance at the heat scale....... 3/5 move, and 17.5 tons of armor to round it out. (Course this is all clan tech. My original IS version had 4 ppc's, 6 mediums, 35 heat sinks, less armor and a sluggish 2/3 pace. Pretty much only good for static defense and straight assaults... but I digress....)

I should have stated 3rd and 4th Succession War Mechs. Ah well, it's all good. Actually I have pretty well sworn off Clan era and Dark Age campaigns almost entirely.... just love the 3005-30049 era too much, though I did run a pretty fun Amaris Coup campaign once.
