Hey all,
Before I start, yes I have googled it, and tried about 10 threads and nothing anyone discussed helped me so thought I'd try a new tread...

I am trying to get the two side buttons on a Logitech M560 mouse to work in MWO.

I have:
1) used set point and set up a game specific profile with the buttons assigned "Generic Button", I have set the keystroke to the appropriate number

2) Using set point I mapped teh buttons as generic for all programs

3) Bought a 10 dollar mouse at Biglots and plugged it in....its buttons work fine...mouse sucks...but buttons work.

Basically, MWO does not recognize any of the buttons other than the standard 2.

I have Windows 8....could be the issue? Mouse is "Optimized for Win8" which is why I selected it.

Anyone see something I screwed up or something else to try?
Is it just MWO and Logitech...quit wasting my time?

Thanks for any constructive help!

have you tried using Logitech's software in order to configure the buttons?
