So lets hear it... Post your fav.. I know i have a few i have lined up to buy one day, but i have a few and i will say they are fun mechs!







MY fav...

Jester.. The Energy boat Catapult, This is my fav, and out of all my mechs i will put this in the top 3.. For a long time i thought this mech was a huge waste of money.. But after an XL320, BAP, 4 MPL's, with 2 on a separate button.. and either ERLL's for a slightly less DPS, or just plain ol LLs.. for more of a mid range brawler.. the amount of XP i got stocked up on this one says... you love it...

So odd that an energy boat finally won my love.. but it is true... Outside of the TDR5SS... which is considered one of the best boats in the game ATM... Sure if i want a bit more fire power, take the TDR, but for fast maneuverable fun... It is hard to beat./


According to my numbers this is my 4th best mech, the 5SS, tops.. (everyone thinks it could get a nerf), with the Cent AH at only .01 less, Yet limited numbers, but still the only mech outside of the 5SS, that i have gotton 6 kills and +1000....

But oddly, my cicada 3m, is in third.. and over 100 matches! But to put the Jester in 4th over those mechs.. to me that means it really is a wonderful mech!.

My second fav hero...

Illya, It was the first hero i bought, and really who doesnt love double Gauss.. Or AC-20 with DUAL LL/ERLL, and Arm shields... Yea.. stick a half ton in the head, and a machine gun in each arm and talk about a worth while blocker, not to mention a great finisher, but hey if ya loose an arm it is a .5 tons of weapon and no big deal... not it is time to twist the other way! One day i will try that triple LBX,....


Lastly... Misery!

I really like this mech, even though i do better with the 3F, according to my win/KDR... But i find this mech the most fun of all my stalkers... (i still need another 100 rounds in this to see if i just got better) But yea... a hero totally worth buying...

Misery.... Sure a slow assault, but with Dual PPC's, AC-20, and a missile back up.. It is great!

My favorite Hero based just on looks, would likely just be the Huginn, because its just so fancy and unique looking. I mean just imagine if it could glow in the dark.

My Favorite hero based on gameplay, has to be the Misery because its the only one of its variants with a ballistics slot, meaning its unique, and different.

PGI so far has not released my favorite type of Hero mech.

Protector.
Carry the as much fire power as an Atlas, but twice as agile and only 1/3 less armoured than an Atlas.
Move with the big boys and brawl like an extra Atlas.

An odd mech that for some reason fits really well with my play style.
Keep with the faster elements of team and legs enemy mechs, or stay with the heavy and jump jet to backstab a target in the confusion.

Police escort.
Hangs with the LRMboat or slow friendly mechs, provide AMS cover and TAG locks, defend target from pesky enemy lights.

My favorite hero is probably the Ember (If I could. I would also pick the loyalty reward mechs (CN9-AH, AS7-S, and KGC-000(L), for the paintjobs)

It's fun for brawling, and the ballistic port really makes it a fun-to-use Stalker.

Sparky, because I like energy boating and fast, agile, decently-armored mediums. Plus I like symmetrical mechs, which was part of the reason I wasn't too keen on Griffins initially.

Out of my 6 heroes, (Not counting Clan invasion or norns) I still like my first one best, the Ilya. I have found dual gauss + 3ML to be a reliable, powerful and versatile config I can always fall back on.

I've been playing the crap out of my Firebrand and my Ilya Muromets. My IM packs 2 ER LL + 2 AC5. My Firebrand packs 2 LBX-10 + 4 SL. No, they won't mow down everything in their path, but I've had a number of matches with a score of over 100 (broke 130 twice in the last tournament challenge!), and easily get damage of 600-800.

Also known as, "C-Bill Printer." Throw some tag and backup lasers on it and I would be very tempted to pay full price for a good LRM hero.
