Im mostly paying for the warranty that I cant get on a system I build myself. Kinda not looking to build it and screw something up, flushing essentially $780

Also; laser etching my MC logo on the case lol

Another vote for building your own. For several reasons.

I don't know if it is a good deal, though I would stay clear of 1333mhz ram if your MOBO can support faster.

There is no difference between 1333 and 1600 that is appreciable to 99% of the users on the planet. the GPU will be the limiting factor in every game you play, not your RAM.

Ive built a system on my own before, so its not like Ive never done it, but I guess Im paying the lazy tax for just really not feeling like doing it myself this time.

Is there a point to going two 7770s crossfire? I CAN do it, oddly without a bump in price, or not much of one.

Is it overkill for this or do you think it would be needed

This is how the recommended HD5830 compairs to "ONE" HD7770 http://www.hwcompare...radeon-hd-7770/.

Two should play at max settings, however one will not play at max settings. One HD 7770 simply is not as fast as the HD5830. There is a point to having two 7770 in crossfire.

Since you're now considering a 3.6ghz CPU instead of the 4.2ghz so you can afford two HD7770, why not just buy one HD6950 which Garth said would run virtually any current game including MWO at max settings. I know you previously tweaked your order so you could afford it. I also know its not my money, it is yours :P.

I like where you're going now OP, but bear in mind 2 things;

1) All your components come with a 2-3yr warranty anyway if you buy them from a reputable place; So don't think you need to pay the idle-tax just to get that security, and c'mon, if you've built a pc before you know how easy it is!

Certainly having to spend 30 minutes on your hands & knees is worth $100 or more (what other job can you think of with that kind of time/pay ratio?) to pump into nicer hardware or even just going out drinking to celebrate your new machine. :(

2) At the same price or cheaper than the FX4100, you could instead get the Phenom II 956 Black Ed, which every site I've looked at says is superior to the newer FX4100 for gaming, which is the criteria both you and I have been looking at.
I only had to type a few letters into Google & it already knew the search I was doing so it's clearly a comparison that a lot of people have been making lately..

So taking ( A ) a slightly more expensive chip which ( B ) is a slightly worse performer, and ( C ) doesn't give any benefits over the Phen' II upgrade-wise, seems silly.

So yeah, for that money, I'd say get the Phenom II x4 965 BE (after all I *am* getting that chip for my build), remember even though it's socket AM3 (not AM3+ like the FX) you can always get an AM3+ mobo which will let you upgrade to the newer chips in a year or two (and I doubt you'll even need to do that until the bar get raised even more like games wanting 8x cores..).

@Inmora The game's specs can be found in the announcement post from 15th of July mate. :)

OP, what are you using this computer for? Your processor is overkill for gaming, and if you're doing processor intensive stuff, Intel is better for that anyway.

I think you can downgrade your CPU for 20-50 dollars and put it into your card. The graphics card is definitely going to be your frame-rate bottleneck in this case.

Also, a word of warning. Cyberpowerpc is known for its unreliable builds and TERRIBLE service. If something goes wrong, you're screwed. I've heard of then keeping stickers and packaging stuck to their internals, which results in something burning up inside your pc. Building your own computer is an easy task and may save you 100-200 dollars which you can put into performance parts.

Whatever you decide to do, you're going to need to update that card to run it on high. I'm pretty sure if you either dropped your processor or built the computer yourself, you could run the game on max settings with the same cost.

I have a Cyberpower PC. Been running strong for 1 year now. The only reason why they have a bad Rep is because they have low quality parts in their options which people who do not build or know much about computers usually use due to low price. Their service isn't that bad either. My case was damaged during transit. Luckily for me the part that broke was easily replaced as it was an interchangeable front face plate. I emailed Cyberpower PC and provided pictures and within a week i had my new face plate ready to go. People who don't build or know a lot about computers will almost always get the top processor or a very good one and a good viedocard but skimp out where it is really necessary (ie power supply and motherboard).

To the OP. Your build will be crap. Plain and simple. You are overlooking one of the most important parts of the PC. the PSU. This is overlooked by so many people it isnt funny. Getting their base 600w power supply i can guarantee you will have an $800 doorstop. You do not want to get into the headache of RMA's with any company especially when it comes to computers. It can get expensive with shipping back and forth if the company doesn't cover it.

Think about a PC like this. If the Processor is the brain then the Power Supply is the heart.

Anyways the best place to ask about a build and get good feedback would be the Cyberpower forums. There are plenty of good guys there that spend their free time to help others and ensure they build a quality PC. I pop my head in there from time to time and offer some advice as well. So before you buy from any online company make sure to go to that websites forums and ask about your build or if any of the senior members can offer any value builds. TRUST ME you wont be disappointed.

Do you mind posting your new build so i can take a gander at it. Also Wattage isnt what i was getting at when i say your original build had a crappy PSU. There are good name brand PSU and then there are crappy. You just need to be careful what you buy as some PSU's out there can damage the components inside your Rig. A bad PSU is one thing but having to replace a processor and videocard as well as your PSU is another.

It's pinned in announcements I think, I got sick of looking for it and just copied it to a .txt file.

MechWarrior Online Minimum System Spec:

CPU:
Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz
Athlon II X2 245e

GPU:
GeForce 8800GT
Radeon HD 5600/5700

RAM:
4 GB

OS:
Windows XP 32-bit SP3

DirectX:
DX9

HDD Space:
4 GB

MechWarrior Online Recommended System Spec:

CPU:
Core i3-2500
AMD Athlon II X4 650

GPU:
GeForce GTX 285
Radeon HD 5830

RAM:
8 GB

OS:
Windows 7 SP-1 64-Bit

DirectX:
DX9

HDD Space:
4 GB

This is not so much for you but for other who are checking this thread for information.

CPU:
Is your computer atleast a dual core at 2.6ghz, if so your at minimum. Devs also stated that a true quadcore is better and the recommended AMD CPU is a 3.2ghz. So if your CPU is at least a dual core and 2.6ghz or above, you are good to go.

GPU/video card:
The easiest thing to do is go here http://www.hwcompare...radeon-hd-5830/ and compare what you have against the minimum/recommended brand you have (there are two boxes to select most cards too compare). Higher number GPU name does not always mean a better card.

RAM:
If you have 4gigs or more you are good to go. If you are running a 64-bit system and use an onboard GPU you WILL need more ram than 4gigs. Just enough to offset how much your OB GPU uses.

OS/operating system:
If you running Windows XP 32-bit(x86) you're good to go, anything Vista and Windos7 and 8 will work too.

If you are still running Win XP and do not have the money to upgrade I understand, however if you think "It is the best OS ever" you have been limiting what developers can do due to an outdated OS which will finally be dropped in a few years (then your SOL). EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO WITH XP YOU CAN DO WITH VISTA AND WIN7, it just may not be as easy (if you think I am flaming, it is fact, prove me wrong). Hell when I was running Vista I had a working serial port before MS released a hotfix.

Not to confuse people, I find the 4gig requirement odd as WIN XP 32bit can not recognize 4gigs even with 4gigs installed you only have 3.5gig usable.

DirectX: DX9, with out even knowing, I can say if you made it this far you can definitely handle DX9. You also can have DX9, DX10, DX11 all working perfectly on the same computer. So if you know you have DX11, you are good to go and just may need to install it (which is free).

Harddrive space:
All you have to do is open "computer" and see if you have at least 4gigs free. If you don't, these days it is not hard to free up 4gigs of space either deleting junk or compressing a bunch of it to make space.

Although burried in a thread with a wonderfull OP who actually gives what he has to work with, I hope this will help all the poeple who need this info and can actually find it.
