Marauder

The Marauder was first built in 2612, as the MAD-1R Marauder, for use as an attack and direct fire support 'Mech. The Marauder is one of the most well-known 'Mechs in existence and was built to usher in a new generation of BattleMechs. Unfortunately, with the fall of the Star League, the new generation of 'Mechs the Marauder was to herald never quite materialized. On its own merits theMarauder is a devastatingly powerful 'Mech. The Marauder has powerful offensive capabilities and a top speed of 64.8 km/h.
The design does have a couple of drawbacks; the armor protection of only eleven and a half tons is lower than most 'Mechs in the heavy weight class, particularly in the legs. The 'Mech can also run hot if the pilot overtaxes the heat sinks.

Warhammer

The Warhammer BattleMech was introduced in 2515 to be "a mobile 'Mech with enough firepower to destroy or severely damage any 'Mech of the same weight class or lower."[6] In the mission it was designed for, the Warhammer is a very capable 'Mech. The design itself centers on the concept of long-range mobile fire. Because of this, and in order to mount a large enough arsenal to carry out its mission, the Warhammer carries only ten tons of armor, which is less than most 'Mechs of its own weight class. Adding to this is the fact that, although it is based on the concept of "Fire and Maneuver," it has a top speed of 64.8 km/h, which allows faster 'Mechs to close to ranges where the Warhammer's primary weapons are ineffective and its thin armor can be exploited.
The Warhammer is one of the Unseen Mech designs. It is based on the Macross Destroid.

You're probably thinking of the Champion 'Mech not the Cauldron-Born.

A Cauldron Born could look cool in MWO I believe. I never liked it in MW3. It looked awkward to me, like an airplane with legs.

Arctic Cheetah (Hankyu)

Skip all other mechs, they are not important.

Arctic Cheetah, 30 tons, produced 3037, 8 configurations (though some are post 3050) including the prime which carries ECM. 240 XL engine, Endo and Ferro - finally a light mech the clan CW players will want in their drop decks......

Here's the prime for those that don't know:

CT - 2xJJ
RA - LRM 5, ERML (1M, 1E)
LA - LRM 5, ERML (1M, 1E)
RT - LRM Ammo, Flamer (not hard wired),Active Probe (1E)
LT - TAG, ECM (1E, ECM)
RL - 2xJJ
LL - 2xJJ

The B:

RA - 1B, 1E
LA - 2E

The C:
RA - 2E
LA - 2E
RT - 1E
LT - 2E

Add that and the Dragonfly and I'd buy the pack today....

Yeah, we're all quakin' in our boots, here. And that's half a ton under weight because there's no room for the second CASE. A 55-ton mech with a 275XL, moderate ferro armor, 11 double sinks, AC10, ERLL, 2xMG, and 2xLRM5. Maybe if it had ok hitboxes it would be worthwhile, but it really brings nothing great to the table. I know some people have nostalgia for it, which is a point in its favor, but the only thing I could think to do with it is to give it Stalkier-esque hitboxes and tank with a standard engine.

Honestly, with double sinks, ferro, armor, and an XL engine, the first gripe I'd expect to hear about the Bushwacker would be the exorbitant c-bill cost. ("It costs more than a Nova!" ... "Um, yeah, ferro armor, double sinks, bigger XL engine, what did you expect it to cost?")

Setting aside the dramatic presentation of his post, if this whole Urbanmech experience has taught us anything, nostalgia can get mechs into the game that don't necessarily bring anything wildly new to the table, no offense to the Urbanmechers out there. And that said, the Bushwacker is one of my favorite mechs so I wouldn't be mad to see it in the game.

Crusader for IS - and yes it has ECM variant (among about 12 variants on Sarna).

Gladiator for Clan.

As much as I like the Bushwacker, I think with out a total rdesign or some magic hit boxes, she will suffer from Stalker Syndrome, as she will have huge ST's and a narrow CT.

If they do the Hatamoto-Chi it has to be an exclusive reward for high ranking Kurita players.
It would be stupid to see every faction using it

I'd be ok if the Hatamoto was actually the Charger that required Combine LP to unlock.

You have a point, and that is one of the potential downsides of translating from a TT to a FPS for many mechs. But on the other hand, the Timberwolf has a similar large torso issue but it still manages to be one of the better mechs in the game, so you never really know how it's going to work out.

Yes I was thinking of the Champion! It has been a long time since I played. Just got them mixed up in my head.

Thanks for the vid.

I checked Sarna and there is 3 variants of the Champion all within our timeline. Might make a nice 60ton heavy IS addition.

The champion might look pretty cool with the MWO treatment. :)

Is that a redesigned Warhammer? If so, its beautiful, would fit with the current game design well, and screw HG as they couldn't touch it with that design.
